    Hey!

So I would say it depends somewhat on the niche of your website (some niches work better on Facebook than others), and also what your general strategy is.

I think, even though a lot of others don't, that a Facebook fan page is still a very valuable asset and way to drive traffic if you build it correctly and interact with the fans in a meaningful way.

So my answer to is it worth it to invest so much, would be partly yes, depending on how much it costs to build a good website and other services you need to launch that part. But yes, building a large fan page is a good idea in my opinion.

To monetize the traffic, if your website is a blog, post updates on your fan page every time a new article is published, and you can also post the links to older articles, as long as the articles aren't constrained by time (like if the article is about how something will turn out, that has already happened). You can also sell status updates to other page owners or website/product owners if your audience gets large enough and is engaged.

    Good luck!

  • Hey! don't be crazy. Never ever go for such type of investment. Every time you want to invest, do it in small size. Just check the thing you are investing in with some scale able formula. If it works then roll it out otherwise don't go for it.
For example if you have $10000, spent just $100 on your page promotion and check the ROI of your $100. if your ROI is good and you think the investment is working just roll it out to $500 or $1000. and so keep on rolling out against the ROI.

    Cheers!

No! In no way that is a good idea. That, my friend, is a waste of your money.
Bought facebook likes are fake. You do get them, but you will not get any traffic from this. At least, not real traffic.
You should focus on getting people who are really interested in your page to like it! Those are the ones who will probably visit your website, when you publish something new on your Fb. page.

So, if you have a lot of money to invest, stop buying fake likes and start investing in a facebook ad campaign.

    I would say No.

Its better to go for some good social media which is mostly opened by professional one's. For example Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn.
On facebook all people might won't take blogging, SEO related thing seriously.

    Hope this helps !

I've built and continue to have several business built from FB likes.

as for %'s it's tough but this is what I did and my numbers:

Facebook likes costs - .04 - .12 cents each (USA traffic in Mom, grandma niche, another site based in Canada for wine lovers)

Build to 10,000+ likes (I have some at 500,000+)

Then target your likes and send them to your opt in page (once you reach this amount and have been posting non advetising content the whole time)

We see about .04 - .20 clicks on our ads, and about a 40-60% opt in rate depending on device and other factors...

The email list is the true gold but cant get it without the page likes (this cheap anyway)

So cost us on the low end .10 for a targeted, engaged email up to $1.00 in SOME cases - but we earn A LOT more then that...

    Good luck

You need clicks to website, really. The likes, comments and shares just help you to get free viewers.
