Getting shares and increasing subscribers on YouTube

Hey everybody. I had an idea last night about getting more shares and getting more subscribers on YouTube. I decided to look up videos in my niche and contact other people that have videos that have thousands of subscribers. I simply told them that I liked their videos and that my blog was on metal detecting and treasure hunting. I then asked them if they would be willing to share it for me and to let me know what they think about it. I figured this way you are reaching a targeted audience and should be able to get them to share it as well. I noticed today that I had already gotten a few and was wondering if anybody has tried this before and what kind of results they have had. Thanks

I hadn't tried doing that before, but it's not a bad idea. People used to do this same thing with relevant facebook pages (I share your post on my page, you share mine on your page) and it used to work really well. Assuming everything is related to your niche, it should convert pretty well.

The idea seems fine, but don't expect every one of these people to be willing to do this for free. Do you have a budget set up? Or how do you plan to "convince" them to help you out?

That's a good idea. I haven't tried it before, but yes it did cross my mind. I am happy to know that it works. Now make sure that you keep your page original and interesting, so people want to share it with their audience to add value.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

Seems like a good idea, I'm planning to try that for myself. Thanks a lot for sharing!

You may also want to add an automatic subscription pop-up on your YouTube channel. It's a little trick, but it can improve the effect for you.

    Hope it helps too!

Great Idea. The only thing to consider is making your blog look nice. This way, you can get a lot of response from the video owners. I'm definitely going to try that soon.
