    Hello!

I've also attempted to sell Teespring shirts on my instagram profiles, but the profile is still quite small (10.5k followers right now, where the big pages have 600k-1m+). I've sold one shirt in a campaign, and I use a Fiverr designer to make the shirts.

I haven't done extensive testing, but I would say they definitely could convert if you can get it in front of a big enough targeted audience, and that audience is in a niche they are passionate about.

    Good luck!

To add to my previous post, I think people are really starting to move over to almost always being in some sort of buying mood in most social media networks, save perhaps Vine, Snapchat (but perhaps moving towards being in one), Tsu, etc. Since people are active on social media networks such as Twitter, FB, IG, Pinterest so often, they are in a buying mood while on these sites. Just to give you a little hope! (For example, I've sold clickbank products on IG before).

Hey! Sorry I didn't clarify before, I haven't really promoted since I got such a big audience, that 1 sale was when I probably had between 3-5k followers. You have to remember with IG that not all your followers will see all your posts (as with all social media really), and in IG in particular, people sometimes just scroll through and don't pay full attention to all the posts, it's just the curse of this particular platform. However, as Mikeyman mentioned, I believe pages with big audiences (100k+) are having success.

        Good luck!

The t-shirt market is extremely over saturated. search "T-shirt store" in Google and get 213,000,000 results. Sell something else is my opinion. I have been selling shirts for almost a decade and it still isn't and easy run.

I see a lot of people selling teeshirts on teespring or at least promoting them. Most of the time I see car and truck accounts selling them and they are selling lots of teeshirts because I follow the link to teespring and see 20-100 tee shirts sold lots of times. The only thing is I can be sure if they are not also promoting them elsewhere like on facebook. If they are promoting these campaigns on teespring only then lots of them are making money. I have yet to see a tee shirt that wasn't related to cars, trucks and driving and racing and the like.

I am going to start trying to promote teespring shirts on instagram and I will pay the large accounts with hundreds of thousands to mllions of followers for a promo to see if I get enough conversions. I will also try promoting for free but since I'm not a big fan of tedious time consuming work I will use instagress.com to carefully automate my promotions and see how that goes.

The more followers / fans on any form of social media, there easier it is to sell a generic product such as a tee shirt, because the buyer / potential buyer isn't specifically looking for a product.

These are usually going to be impulse buys - imo.

Mikeyman I bought your WSO where you said you had several accounts with large followings. Why can't you promote to those?
