Facebook Fanpage Purge?

Not sure if Facebook is clearing out fake profiles or what not, has anyone heard anything? I was just shy of 221,000 legit fans ( I never paid for them or anything) then noticed that my Likes seems to gradually drop down to closer to 220,000. No big deal.

Today I log in and I'm at 215,000 fans after have 220,000 and change last night.

I only post a few times a day so it's to like I posted anything to piss people off.

Any ideas?

    Yes it was a big announcement a couple weeks ago...eliminating likes from accounts with no activity.

      A decline from 220,000 to 215,000 is not too bad (less than 3% if my math is correct). This is going to impact those who bought fake likes a lot harder.

    7 thousand ye I had round the same amount of drops there and it was a facebook thing who knows,to me I dont care since I dont use facebook and honestly is the last thing I would consider for as serious advertising tool for my company or any other network or publisher advertisers sites that are mainly fraud,well this as company.

    But as a PERSON all my friends are out of facebook,it sounds like it worries a lot to you the impact of your post on facebook and it also sound is very important for you then you should keep doing what you did in order to get those fans and dont matter those things because they will always be happening to you since those companies are always hiring new coders to change the game always,they are like google ,if is important to yuu just hire publishers to give you more fans,is the only way you wont be complaining investing tons of money on facebook.

    My Likes went down for a bit but its steady now
    Hopefully it won't go down

    It's different in our case. It's like we haven't had new fans or likes in the past few days, even with our FB ads getting approved. And these are ads we know that work really well.
