Why LinkedIn is more powerful in social media

Hey warriors,

I would want to know why Linked is considered to be more powerful than any other social media network. How can I take the returns of my efforts and energy on it?

Thanks in advance

  • LinkedIn is no doubt a very huge community of very high level professionals. You can guess the popularity and power that in every single mnt, 2 new users sign up here.
as compare to other social media, this network is very powerful for recruitment and also for marketing.
If you want to invest your time and money here, by involving yourself in some discussion forum.it can be fruitful.
    Cheers!

Unfortunately in my niche (dating) using LinkedIn is not an option... Its a shame because I love the network professionally.

  • I'm not sure who is pushing LinkedIn, but I don't know any other group than headhunters/recruiters who think it's the best social media platform.

As a business professional I use LinkedIn extensively. My clients hang out there. Not on FB, Twitter or any of the others.....

I did. I was hired by small business owners twice to work on a couple of social media marketing projects. I just came across right people. Kept up correspondence. Offered my lead generation ideas and services. But LinkedIn banned my account for no reason. It just didn't like a link or two that I posted at the wrong time and in the wrong place within the system. It's good at offending its users. All it does is restricts, bans, SWAMs, etc

Linkedin is good for increasing your B2B contacts. Since it has a more targeted members like professionals looking to increase their business contacts, you can easily use the site to market your products, seminars or services. It’s only a matter of connecting with the right people and sending the right message. If you want to leverage on linkedin I suggest you check out linkfluencer.com or Google the term ‘how to be a linkfluencer’.

Most important thing about LinkedIn is that its audience is genuine and educated as Twitter's is. When we talk about Facebook's audience, we see that there are millions of fake accounts on Facebook. But LinkedIn is very effective reach to professionals and experts related to different fields.

I totally agree that LinkedIn is really powerful tool when it comes to career building and improving your network, but if you are looking for promoting your brand then you should go for some other social media. The result totally depends upon the purpose of using the site.

Those two can't really be compared. They don't have the same purpose, and to say that one is better than the other, well it's simply not true.

Who told you that? I don't think LinkedIn is better than other social media websites. Nor is Facebook better than twitter or twitter better than google plus: I could go on ...
It's all about your niche and the way you make use of social media.

Linked In is a very powerful social media avenue because it mainly consists of professionals. It is not like Facebook or Twitter where it can be dominated by teenagers, Linked In is where professionals meet to broaden their network, employment or offering business opportunities.

There are plenty of Social networking sites available in which the most powerful one is LinkedIn because here you will not get any teenagers. In simple words, if I would like to explain, then I will explain in a word that is Professional.

LinkedIn is great. It's awesome if you're working in the B2B sector. People are serious there, and if you use it effectively you can secure some serious contracts.

  • The most powerful social media is the one that gives you the best results. Yes, LinkedIn is powerful but if you don't know how to use it and your target market isn't there, then it's useless.

LinkedIn is used by professionals. If you're a professional and want to target your outreach to people with money who want to make business connections, then LinkedIn is the place for you. Twitter, etc., attract a lot of kids, etc.

linkedin is the more powerful social media because almost all the subscriber in linkedin are professional and businessman, so if your start market your product in linkedin all the traffic you will get is from professional peoples, peoples that are ready to buy, ready to use their credit card, but in facebook you will get adult peoples, student peoples, peoples who don't have a credit card ....

In my opinion Linkedin in powerful than other social media sites because its audience is very mature and majority of the people who are using Linkedin are well educated and professionals. That is the reason i believe that Linkedin is different than other social media sites.
