Just paid 11 cents per "like" for 233 U.S. Facebook users... Thoughts?

So, I just ran a Facebook "like" campaign for a specific demographic of U.S. people on Facebook. I got a 10/10 "relevance score" and a 7.2% conversion rate on a timeline ad...

Anybody think advertising for likes is useful? Any tips on monetizing FB fans?

Your thoughts are appreciated.

I know a Facebook page who paid for Facebook likes and has about 108k likes on their page... every time they post something on their timeline, they get 2 or 3 likes.

I don't trust Facebook likes, I've tried them myself and got poor engagement (although it seems to be working okay for you).

Still, I'd try to go for a Pay-Per-Engagement model and see if it works better for you--it has proven to be much better for many Warriors here.

If you want to monetize a large following of FB fans, PPE is also good, promote posts and make sure you link to your website in those posts :-)

    Hope it helps!

  • Paying for likes is a great investment to get at least your first 500 likes in order your fan page looks like something 'cool'.
Despite that, I'd invest in promoting posts to get activities on my posts and in getting leads/suscribers.
I mean if you are going to invest in FB ads, make sure you get the most of it by building your list and not only a bunch of fans that won't see your future posts on their timeline because FB does not show them to force you to buy ads again and againg for the same objective.
