I liked to use "buffer.com". It helps me schedule or put my tweets on queue. This helps me to distribute all my tweet throughout the day.

What I normally do is to a lot 30mins to 1 hour in the morning to find relevant contents and schedule them tweet together my own contents to go out every hour.

I use hootsuite (free account) which is great for scheduling posts, like Marked09 said setting aside time a couple of days a week to setup tweets/posts to go out.

Having said that I'm also testing Post Planner at the moment ($9 + pm), the main difference is that is segments link, picture and comment posts to vary your content and improve engagement throughout the day. You can also use their recommended content (taken from what's trending) to fill out your social media platforms and gain flow.

Personally I don't think I'll keep it as I'd prefer to create original content for my purposes. However if i was just looking to build followers and keep the content flowing without too much brain work then it's a great tool.

Buffer is a great tool for social media scheduling - simple and requires little or no learning cave. Hootsuite is another great tool. It's not as easy as Buffer to use, but customer support is great and it has lots of great features for listening and engaging with your social community.

I would recommend Buffer for social media scheduling for one account and Hootsuite for multiple accounts. Both tools also offer a cool Chrome extension that allows you to share webpages quickly.

I love the Buffer app. You can space out your tweets as you sit fit. It's awesome.

I'm just starting to use MassPlanner. Since it runs on your desktop, it doesn't leave notes in your social media posts telling people you're using some sort of automated service.

I think anyone that does social media should at least check it out.

I have used hootsuite on occasion, but I still prefer to do everything myself. The 'manual method' is still the best for me.

I love IFTTT, provides so much hackery and fun and if you can streamline it it's perfect. We are looking to integrate it into our new platform too. We used to used Buffer and Hootsuite internally in our agency, however we grew a bit frustrated with both of their limitations when it comes to crafting a great tweet schedule. We wanted youtube playlist integration, image posts from rss, subreddit feeds etc. That's why we used indiegogo to fund Tweet Rocket, the results are incredible, we couldnt be more pleased.
