    In a day... well, it's gonna be tough. But being active by interacting with a lot of people will get you there. Maybe not in a day (okay, definitely not in one day), but if you want real followers, then you'd just have to be persistent.

      Just following and liking and commenting will take a while to get to 5k - like maybe a month or two. The fastest way is to pay for shout outs. You can pay your way to 100k but it won't be cheap. You can also do what's called a shoutout for shoutout which is just like an adswap with someone with a similar following you each tell your followers to follow the other person but it would be pretty tough to get 5k in one day without paying for shoutouts.

      I'm testing out instagress.com and am able to get 5k followers per account per month doing it at their NORMAL speed and only running it for 1/3 of the day or so everyday. I'm testing to try different settings and hashtags and things to increase my numbers faster.

    In one day? Theoretically may be possible but in reality not so much. Besides, any of those sites promising you a lot of followers are usually a waste of money and time, since most of the users are going to unfollow you anyway after some time. That of course unless you provide them something worth following you.

    One day it seems difficult. Do not spend too much money in sites that are committed to providing you followers, or otherwise entrusted to serious ones. Try to be very dynamic and talk to lots of people. It will take some more time but you can do it.

    I'd say if you want quality likes you can't achieve 5k in a day unless you pay for it.
    If you have the money you can either :
    - buy high quality likes
    - buy shoutouts from relavant accounts

    If you don't have the money, you can go the route that everybody else takes:
    - like others people's images to get follows back
    - comment on other people's images to get follows back
    - follow other people to get follows back
    - do S4S with other people with similar accounts.

    you won't be able to do 5k a day, if you're lucky you might get a couple hundred a day which means it will take at least 10-15 days to get teh 5k

    Shout outs are also not the best thing in instagram, it depends on your business (didn't work for me)
    I'd recommend you just to keep liking and following people and you will reach your goal in few months.

      It might be worth checking to see if Instagram has a daily follow limit before attempting this. Sometimes accounts get flagged for receiving an unusually large number of followers in a short time period. Food for thought!

    Yes the hourly follow limit is 50. There is no daily limit. The newer your account is, the more strict ig is with it. If you have an account that is atleast 6 months old you can do more more than 50 follows/ hour. Also 5k real followers in a day is very possible if you are willing to pay for it. I have seen pages grow 20k in a day from 0. The trick is to get shouted out from multiple large pages at once. By large I mean pages that have a minimum of 50k likes per pic.

But if you're going to manually add, follow, like, comment to other people in one day? Your account might be considered spamming or doing malicious behavior by the website.

    Paid shoutouts are the best. Our goal is to use products and services that we sell as a way to break even while we grow the IG pages. But, as I mentioned on another post, be EXTREMELY careful with the tools that promise you these these. If this is a serious business (what isnt?) then you run the risk of account deletion.     Hmm...5k a day doesn't seem to be very realistic... at least for a single account, most certainly you'll be banned. To avoid this and keep your account safe, you may try following/parsing software (Tooligram,FollowLiker,Instagress,etc) using proved "follow-and-2-likes" strategy with random delays between actions and you might get close. I got maximum 2100+ via Tooligram, but it was very well targeted wanderlust-related stuff. When targeting is made not this wise the result may disappoint you.

    also dont waste money on buying likes from ppl because most of them are just useless bots.

    Look at accounts that are selling shout-outs. They are easy to find. Tip- look for "hot" women sharing good friends they've never met, and look for a marketing inquiry email or link in their bio.

    Then measure the growth in accounts that you see buying shout-outs. Of course it won't be apples to apples unless you are also a bikini model or fitness instructor or whatever you're looking at (sites selling shout outs will list by category, so you can research).

    I've seen accounts with 500k followers that generate maybe 500 new followers for a paid shout out.

    Of course, you can and should be doing manual following and interaction to grow your account, but it's a grind. Don't expect huge growth. The best increases I've seen are from commenting on brand new posts from huge accounts. For example, I commented on a post from The Rock within 1 minute from a bodybuilding related account and that got a lot of new followers. Nowhere near the 1000s, though.

      I see this also now and figured out how many are using it. People are turning on post notifications on the huge accounts and when they get a new post notification they just quickly copy and paste one of there ready comments on the new pic for extra exposure. haven't done it myself yet but it's the clever new thing on instagram.

    If you want to get followers then work on it. Stick to reality, you'll never get 5K followers in an instant, I mean real followers not the dummy ones. You will need to work on it. Experiment on your strategies. You'll not get as much but you'll get some at least what you've worked for. It'll pay off. The only tip I can give you is to use hashtags and eye-catching images.

    Yea, there is no real risk in buying fake followers, it is more risky to spam people or to post nude content, One little trick I used was to create a new instagram account with the photo of a really nice girl smiling, then I bought 1000 followers on xmartphone.com, then started posting and liking accounts from people with lots of followers , -dont do this with famous people, because they never look at their own accounts anyway-, just real regular people. I got lots of followers that way.

      Perhaps, but "no risk" doesn't necessarily mean there is a purpose or real benefit. I mean, I can see where having a base of numbers can encourage more people to follow you (no one wants to follow a new account with no followers) .

    If you are just doing this by yourself for a personal account, adding hashtags like #follow4follow will help get you followers, but they will expect you to follow their accounts as well. If you were to team up with a social media marketer, they could help get you in touch with big accounts that might be willing to give you a shoutout (featured post) if you have content that they like. Focus on posting high-quality content consistently utilizing relevant hashtags.

    I will not suggest to have thousands of followers in just one day, it is quite obvious they are not real followers. You can build a great following in short time naturally by sharing nice pictures(with proper hashtags), engaging your audience and by actively participating(Like comment others pictures).
    You can try some automation tools to reach out target audience and utilize this platform effectively for website promotion and gain followers on Instagram.

    Follow 160 people per hour, this is the limit. 24hoursx160 = 3840 follows. Get an average of 20% return 768 followers.

    You are then going to have to pay & have good advertisements/posts on other major 100k+ Instagram accounts, expect to spend 500USD+ to reach this in a day.

    Idk if you can reach that goal in a day organically using hashtags, following techiniques and so on unless you are popular , but if you use exchanging sites which is considered black hat technique, if you use it, you might reach the goal but hey get prepared to welcome fake followers.
