Can the number of Google+ views ..decrease?

I was under impression that Google+ is calculating the total number of views for the whole period of time. It would mean that this number cannot decrease - it can only increase with time.

Today I got puzzled as noticed the decrease of views for one of my pages :

In April it was 5281:
Attachment 22662

Today, one month later, it is 4933:
Attachment 22663


Am I mistaken about how Google+ views are being counted or something has changed?
Please, help to solve this puzzle. thank you!

  • May be it shown by mistake or may be your activity on Google+ is less. If you want to increase your views then stay active on Google+
