You can get nice ROI with facebook but using other networks would be a +. Focus on Pinterest as i am getting good traffic from pinterest these days.
I mainly market my content on facebook (Not Facebook Ads) via paid pages posts and earn like 400-500% ROI each single day.

You can not avoid other social media accounts specially Google plus is a good source of traffic. Also give strength to website those have good Google plus profile.

Yes...

Facebook is massive enough where you don't have to use those out social media outlets.

However, if you want to tackle a few at a time...

Basically, if you want to use FB only, you'll have to spend the same amount of time you'd have to spend if you we're using more social medias all together. So it's the same thing in a way. I'd still use more than one social media though. Different ways of engaging and connecting with people can be fairly more beneficial for your business than just one.

You should try using twitter and instagram also. These social media sites has the number of users as much as the facebook has. Nevertheless you can manage all at a time using some of the best social media management dashboard tools like Socioboard. They allows you to manage social media accounts, provides detailed analytics and reports.

Only IM and other entreprenuer used social media alltogether with one objective "promoting product". That's the way to take advantage to attract more exposure from different potential customers.

If you only focus on facebook you just the same with other public people that used social media for communication with friends and family.

I recently did a report of all my social traffic and Facebook, Twitter, Google+ Reddit and Pinterest accounted for thousands of visistors, you dont want to leave any out just need to know where and how to post on each network.

In my experience FB is a huge marketing platform.Group post if you learn how to use them correctly can be a gold mine in your marketing on FB. I have generated lots of optins and sales for my business using group post. I suggest that you do have other marketing sources to use besides FB just incase something happens like FB Jail that can stop your traffic instantly. I wish you the best results in your marketing.

I think if you don't work on other social media I think you are going to miss good traffic sources to your website. In my view according to the traffic generated for my website twitter, pinterest are great source to get business leads or the traffic. As your working on facebook you can also work on twitter simultaneously and pinterest. Twitter will fetch you more traffic and the strategy to follow on the twitter is also very easy. You get more followers easily and also traffic.
