Launching a new FB page

Hey there guys, looking to get some input on launching a new facebook page. It's a brand spanking new page and im working on having a designer create a logo/cover photo and that will take a few days. Should i wait until i have the logo/cover photo before launching the official page in the meantime gathering content, or should i just launch the page and start to throwing out content and driving traffic immediately? How important is it really to have a good solid foundation before driving traffic? I dont want to turn anybody away with a mediocre looking page.

You just answered the question yourself. Have all the content you need to keep peopel coming back for more, if they go to a half assed page they won't be interested at all.

If you're paying for the traffic, make sure you have everything up to scratch before you start driving traffic.

Make sure the quality is 100% - people know when somethings not worth their time.

      Exactly this,

You want your page to look good, you want quality content, a decent pic and cover pic, THEN drive traffic to it,

Think about it, would you want to be a fan of a half done page? Especially if they were promoting products? Would you trust them?

I'd be getting it all tweaked up right now while you wait. Start getting a variety of different updates scheduled and make them good. Make sure all the descriptions and other About details are completed as well. Right now is the time to get everything ready so you can start aiming for traffic when the design is complete!

    I grow social platforms.

Some tips for your particular FB fan page:

    1. Brand Cover + Profile
    2. Add Filler Content (10 to 20 Updates)
    3. Add Filler Followers (500+ from Add Me Fast)
    4. Pin Decent Content Update
    5. Invite Friends (If Relevant)
    6. Share Some Updates to Relevant Groups

Steps 1 to 6 will create a "sticky" platform, and 5 and 6 will give you a little engagement. You can then begin to grow effectively.

Around 2 or 3 daily updates. Post too many times, you'll kill engagement, kill the page.

You need to post at the time of optimal engagement. In other words, the time when the majority of your audience are on FB and available to like, comment, share. It depends on the demographics of your page. Experiment with posting times, study insights, make use of social media management software (ex: HootSuite).

Becase people like to feel engaged. They like to read fresh news and be the first to comment. This creates thriving discussion with multiple participants and build strong positive attitude towards your FB page/group

  • Hello vojohn33

You should complete the page, and then make it visible, no one likes to follow content shoddy or incomplete pages, you must offer more quality to your followers.
