How I drive 100's of users to my website everyday

Afternoon Warriors. My latest post covered my first viral Facebook post and what it was like to experience something like that.

When I left off my page was at about 16k likes and steadily growing. Just today I acquired another page very similar in content to mine that has 21k likes. I am super excited to add another 21k members to my fans list.

About 3 months ago in the beginning of March I started a website for my Facebook fanpage. They both revolve around a hit Netflix series "Orange Is The New Black". When I started the website my goal was to drive traffic to the website which has news, updates, polls, quizzes & more. I had never used Adsense before so I figured this would be a great opportunity to do so.

I only posted 1 or 2 links per week to begin with because I didn't want my audience to feel spammed. However, I recently realized that if only 3k of my 16k audience is seeing these links (let's just say on average) then I still have another 13k people that haven't seen the link. So I would post it again a week later and rotate 10 posts per week posting the same link at different times.

I've only been doing this for about 5 days now and the results are great. So far I've generated about $20 via Adsense since March 5th with $11 of that being within the passed 3 days. Now with another 21k fans to post to, I expect this number to grow some more.

I plan on merging the pages together which will bring me to about 40k likes, which is awesome!

Just wanted to share my progress so far and shed some light on running Facebook fanpages for fun and making a few bucks off of something you enjoy doing.

Please feel free to ask me questions in the comments, I will respond quickly

Alot of people on here dont really care about generating 100's of traffic to their site everyday. They can artificially inflate this number for free by using a traffic exchange (like TrafficSwarm). All they want to know is if you've achieve breakthrough/mindblowing sales with this technique. Hopefully you will be able to provide some money details soon other than the $20.

But i imagine that you won't share those "secrets" or ideas if you're technique keeps growing and then you go on to make $200/day and above. Congrats though on the traffic increase. I hope it turns into alot of hard cash for you someday.

My goal when posting here is to show real results for real endeavors. I know what you mean by people only wanting to see massively inflated numbers and millions of dollars in revenue. I aim to keep it real.

I feel that posting real results and information is a lot more helpful and relatable to other "Internet Marketers" or Internet Earners rather, than posting false or silver lined information.

Currently I have no "secrete" which I am keeping for myself or not revealing. Pretty much what I post is exactly what I am doing.

Thanks for the encouragement. Doing $200 / day would be an amazing first start!

Awesome, you're getting results, so now you just have to scale up. It sounds like you have a nice strategy here and if you can rinse and repeat you could start making a consistent and substantial income from your efforts.

I figured I'd learn how to do it first then replicate the strategy multiple times and make a passive income.

How did you acquire the new FB page?

Also, what type of hosting do you use, if you don't mind my asking? Does it handle the spikes without problems?

Kind of a long and funny story actually. Id had messaged the page months ago on their growth strategy and they got mad at me for reposting a piece of content that they posted as well (mind you they didn't create this post. We both found it on google) and from that point we were on bad terms. However i let things die down for a month and i had previously offered to buy the page from him which he declined. He messaged me out of the blue last week telling me that he was giving me the page because he didn't have time for it.

      Patience is a virtue!

And I host with bluehost on the mid range plan. The website handles the traffic fine. However I think I spiked it earlier and got a page load error for about a minute.

So how many site visitors are you getting in a day, typically?

interesting...did you use a specific strategy to gain the 16k in likes on your first page or was it all organic traffic?

My first post that went "viral" was from my churches FB page that I admin. It was a call to action for prayer for some kids in our church that was in an auto accident. That post went crazy and our likes went up like crazy.

I would love to be able to duplicate that kind of organic traffic and likes minus the real life tragedy.

What I learned from this experience (The kids are doing great now BTW) is that people want to connect to the post and be engaged both emotionally and physically.

    How do you replicate that?

I think, and I am still trying to figure this out, that you have to post something that resonates with people on a personal level and gets them involved somehow. I guess that is the true meaning of engaging people.. getting them involved.

Your strategy seems great, have a page about something people care about, in this case a Netflix series. Then go out there and get people engaged and stimulated about the issue.

You have given me a lot to think about tonight.

    Thanks!

I then acquired another page about 3 months ago of about 8k likes and merged it into my page bringing me to 12k.

2 weeks ago I had my first viral post on that page which brought me a whopping 4k likes & 7 million reach over the period of a week.

Just yesterday I acquired another page with 21k likes and plan to merge it into my 16k page in the coming weeks bringing me up to about 40k.

I did not pay a cent for either of the pages that I acquired.

Congrats on your success it's really nice when you stumble onto a viral post and see how powerful it can be.

Btw, one part of what you said caught my eyes, the one I left above quoted, how is that, care to share?

I contacted the owners of the pages and became friendly with them. The first page I acquired the girl hadn't posted in 6 months and the 8k likes we're just sitting there wasting away so I wanted to buy it from her. She didn't know how to use paypal or anything so I asked for admin. Gave it about a month and she still didn't post, so I demoted her to editor and took control of the page which I then merged into mine. I guess you can say I hijacked it but it was for the better good lol.

The second page I got into a long fight with the admin and then I let things cool down for a month. He messaged me out of the blue last week and told me that he was going to give me the page because he had no time for it.

          Crazy huh? Lol

That's impressive. Slow and steady is the key. Best wishes and thanks for keeping it real.

Adsense is great and everything... but why not convert that TEMPORARY traffic into LONG TERM POTENTIAL BUYERS?

    That's right...

    Build a list!

Once you have people on your list, you can then send update notifications and you can turn your list members into adsense ad clicks... as well as CPA sales, etc.

This audience isn't filled with buyers. That's not what I built it off of. I am not going to promote affiliate links for unrelated things in hopes to drive sales. This audience is highly active and likes to engage with high quality content. The only thing i will sell on the page are tshirts and maybe other themed trinkets. Plus I have a list, just peaked 100 today.

        Thanks AYCE !!

I hope it keeps improving for you. Good start

Btw it is nice to see results that, from the outside, seem legit.
