Or post the videos on a facebook fan page or your personal fb

Two of the biggest things you can do by way of unpaid methods are to be releasing videos about things that are happening in your niche before they happen. A lot of the old comics are being made into movies, so if you have branched out into that, perhaps you should consider it.

Since movies take so long to make, you can actually Google this kind of stuff way ahead of time, You also need to make sure that you are using searchable titles and descriptions. Don't just put something like "Here is my latest video." Make it relevant. It might help you to use the free Google keyword planner tool.

Start with optimizing your channel and videos with on page SEO and off page SEO methods.
Try to use keyword targeted videos, as general videos will be difficult to rank.

Once you start seeing traffic, than use video analytics to ramp intensive SEO methods to rank your video in top positions.

Paid Methods: you can use youtube video marketing to bring initial traction like views, likes and subscribers. It will give you high authority and long term benefits. There is long list of paid methods but first set up your back end and monetization process.

The nice thing about Youtube, it's the 2nd largest search engine around. I find that mostly, the channel markets itself, if you're producing decent stuff.

Uninteresting videos that don't rank on my channel get a handful of views, when I do a better job, it's hundreds of views.

Sharing on social media and embedding on your blog, makes sense

To increase your subscribers in your youtube channel, you should publish minimum 1 video per week. Videos quality need to be good. If you fail to keep the good quality, then the subscriber will fee bore & most of the real subscriber will unsubscribe your channel. build a website get your subscribers to go to it then tell them to share the website also if they do that the website will grow and rank high in google search also it will help your channel by back links coz the people share it if you have 25K subscribers i will guess if they are on facebook and other social network you will get in google over 4 moths if you put your website in google web master tools

You could try pre roll ads, or expand your audience base by doing some collab videos.

Do some giveaways. Ask people to subscribe to your channel, and all your social media profiles as a requirement for entering the giveway.

Headlines are very important. Spend a lot of time creating an attractive title...and a thumbnail. Although I have heard that you need to be a youtube partner to be eligible to pick your own thumbnail. I could be wrong about this.

There's no real quick way to do this...

I just created a post on growing a YouTube channel.

In the last 30 days, I've received 96,000+ views, and it continues to grow.

What did I do to achieve this:

Post quality videos
Add the right tags to become a popular suggested video
Add intros and outros that boost brand presence
Ask for subscriptions in-video

I apologize if this appears like self-promotion, but I created a 5,000 word blog post that covers absolutely everything it takes to grow a channel.

A BIG key here is to become a suggested video. That's where most of your traffic will come from.

Having a strong social media presence across the board could be really beneficial and help drive traffic in. Especially on sites that encourage graphics (Instagram/Facebook). You can auto share to a lot of these sites, and if you stay on top of it, can be beneficial to wanted to grow your audience. If you can't stay on top of it, you might want to consider bringing on a social media marketer to help get you noticed.
