How to promote Youtube Channel?

Hi all,

I am new to this very interesting forum and look forward to learning and sharing IM knowledge.

I have a Youtube channel which I want to promote with paid/unpaid methods. The channel is in the Comics/animated graphic videos niche. Currently it has over 25000 subscribers. What are the various ways by which I could promote the channel effectively? My main objective is to increase the no. of subscribers.

Please advice.

Thanks,
Crayons

Why don't you promote it on YT with paid ads?

Or post the videos on a facebook fan page or your personal fb

Build a list and share your videos with your list.

Two of the biggest things you can do by way of unpaid methods are to be releasing videos about things that are happening in your niche before they happen. A lot of the old comics are being made into movies, so if you have branched out into that, perhaps you should consider it.

Since movies take so long to make, you can actually Google this kind of stuff way ahead of time, You also need to make sure that you are using searchable titles and descriptions. Don't just put something like "Here is my latest video." Make it relevant. It might help you to use the free Google keyword planner tool.

Hi, here are some advice from my side....

Start with optimizing your channel and videos with on page SEO and off page SEO methods.
Try to use keyword targeted videos, as general videos will be difficult to rank.

Once you start seeing traffic, than use video analytics to ramp intensive SEO methods to rank your video in top positions.

Paid Methods: you can use youtube video marketing to bring initial traction like views, likes and subscribers. It will give you high authority and long term benefits. There is long list of paid methods but first set up your back end and monetization process.

Exactly! But what also help is to share them on other social media so others start sharing them as well.

The nice thing about Youtube, it's the 2nd largest search engine around. I find that mostly, the channel markets itself, if you're producing decent stuff.

Uninteresting videos that don't rank on my channel get a handful of views, when I do a better job, it's hundreds of views.

Sharing on social media and embedding on your blog, makes sense

To increase your subscribers in your youtube channel, you should publish minimum 1 video per week. Videos quality need to be good. If you fail to keep the good quality, then the subscriber will fee bore & most of the real subscriber will unsubscribe your channel. You should use the social media sites to be successful in this section. Thanks

YouTube pays $ 8.00 - $ 25.00 per each 1000 views you receive per video.

A lot of YouTube stars have a full time income and some of them even became millionaires
following having an active YouTube channel.

You can choose your own pictures for each YouTube video on your channel.

You could try pre roll ads, or expand your audience base by doing some collab videos.

Do some giveaways. Ask people to subscribe to your channel, and all your social media profiles as a requirement for entering the giveway.

Headlines are very important. Spend a lot of time creating an attractive title...and a thumbnail. Although I have heard that you need to be a youtube partner to be eligible to pick your own thumbnail. I could be wrong about this.

Make your video searchable: First, make sure you have a compelling title. Use your keywords and make a strong emphasis on the benefits of the video. Next is your video description whatever it is you're doing, tell them clearly in a keyword rich description. Page Layout: set your video to play automatically. When you've done that, create playlists of your most popular videos. You're going to keep updating this as viewer preferences change.Get a custom channel: Make sure your YouTube channel is branded to you, your book, or your business.Promote your channel: Be sure to push your channel out through social media channels. Promote it on Facebook, Twitter, your own website and even in your signature line.

There's no real quick way to do this...

I just created a post on growing a YouTube channel.

In the last 30 days, I've received 96,000+ views, and it continues to grow.

What did I do to achieve this:

    Post quality videos
Add the right tags to become a popular suggested video
Add intros and outros that boost brand presence
    Ask for subscriptions in-video

I apologize if this appears like self-promotion, but I created a 5,000 word blog post that covers absolutely everything it takes to grow a channel.

The post is here: How to Get 72,719 YouTube Views in the Next 30 Days (Step-By-Step)

A BIG key here is to become a suggested video. That's where most of your traffic will come from.

    Hope this helped!

Many good ideas here, there is another thing to consider and that is to know that videos by themselves have no meaning to search engines so do not forget to add captions or descriptions based on keywords analysis.

Nice suggestions here, although no one has mentioned the option of getting a YouTube consultation from a well-known certified YouTube expert team like socialblade.com

If you have some funds available, then I suggest that before starting a paid advertising campaign you should consider scheduling a YouTube consultation with them. You can find more details about that here Grow your Channel with YouTube Consulting - Socialblade.com

Important Disclosure: I'm NOT affiliated with them in any way...I just believe it's a good option for developing a strategic growth plan for your channel.

    Cheers!

Having a strong social media presence across the board could be really beneficial and help drive traffic in. Especially on sites that encourage graphics (Instagram/Facebook). You can auto share to a lot of these sites, and if you stay on top of it, can be beneficial to wanted to grow your audience. If you can't stay on top of it, you might want to consider bringing on a social media marketer to help get you noticed.

You can use different social media platforms such as twitter, facebook and pinterest. Posting your videos in these platforms could help you get more subscribers to your channel. It is also important that you interact with your followers and create gimmicks that will boost user's engagement to your YT channel.
