No, it's not that easy. I post legitimate reviews on my fanpage and I very little views or interaction.

Join relevant groups on facebook and share what you post on your site to those groups. If you do it nicely and don't spam like crazy you will get a lot of good visitors and it will become a constant stream of traffic.

Hi, thanks for your response. Going forward paid services will not give the good picture to the business. I have run Facebook advertisements and i got good amount of response, later i realized that almost response are junk. So, i am not at all interest to run the campaign in Facebook. This is what I felt bad experience in Facebook. Instead of doing paid advertisement better to go with manual promotion.

Content is king even when it comes to Facebook pages so you need to have good/interesting articles or video posts on your page based on your niche before you start promoting it. You can share it on your personal Facebook wall, or join groups with the same niche as yours and share your posts to them. There are many Facebook group pages you can join now where you can exchange likes or views as far as I know.

If you've a considerable amount of fans (at least 1,000), you can make ventures with other people who also run fan pages in your niche.

You can promote their fan pages and they'll promote yours. This way, you'll be able to get a LOT of likes really quickly. Therefore, you'll get more traffic from Facebook.

It's really simple, just try it out.

Also, if you don't have at least 1,000 likes you can use Facebook ads to get them. It's not expensive.

    Cheers!

I have 1,700 legit fanpage fans. When I create a post it is usually seen by 50 people.f

Also, everyone talks about creating viral content but what does it matter if 50k people see your post when your affiliate offers are on your website? How do you get your fans to your website? Nobody ever seems to address this issue.

It's a matter of posting links to your website content, and having those posts be seen, clicked on and shared. That's game, set and match.

It's not easy at all -- I have a page of similar size and have much the same problem. But it's easier in some niches than others. The key elements under your control are the headlines and images.

iconoclast....I run a hyperlocal youth soccer site whose fan page has just over 1500 fans so it's comparable in size to yours. That fan page drives close to 1000 visitors per day to my website during the season.

My engagement is through the roof as is my reach.

If nobody is engaging with your content, the problem is your content - it's just not interesting enough to your fans.

Getting fans to your website is the easy part - just share links to your website on your fan page. The hard part is creating content that they find interesting enough to engage with.

Thank you for your reply Wolfi. When I post a review snippet from my website, on my fanpage, it is only shown to 50 people or less and of those 50 people very few actually visit my website for the full review. Then of the few that visit the site I have to get them to take action. It is a very long road to make a conversion.

My question is, even if you create a fanpage post that people engage with, such as reply's, likes, and shares. That doesn't mean that the are going to leave FB and visit your site. All of the engagement is done on FB. If you only post snippets, you might get people back to your site to see the full post but snippets usually get less user engagement. There are a lot of intricacies that are difficult to address.

The funny thing is, is that all of my fans are legitimate.

You've mentioned "reviews" a few times. If you are referring to product reviews, that's largely your problem. People aren't on Facebook to buy stuff. The trick is to present content that is related to your site, yet interesting.

In my case, the reach for my soccer page posts is north of 40% most times - sometimes even higher. Click-throughs are outstanding. I attribute this to the fact that people are coming to my page to see scores, highlights, and such - and that is what I provide. My fans eat it up. With several hundred to as many as 1000 visitors per day, it's clear to me that people will click over to a website as long as the content is solid. Producing the solid content is the trick - and not everybody can do it.

I was just hired by a local mattress company to improve their branding and social media reach. There's no way I'm going to recommend posting mattress reviews to their Facebook page because even their most die hard fans are going to be bored with that content. What I am going to recommend is that they post content about improving sleep and pictures of cool bedroom makeovers. Stuff like that.

If you need assistance, I can help - but it will cost a few bucks. In the end though, I guarantee my work. PM me if you'd like to discuss further.

    Tom

People want to "hear" the music - not read reviews about it. Have you tried posting clips? I suggest embedding clips on your site and then posting links to those clips on your Facbeook page.

Exactly what I did, sir. I post a short review and post the youtube video on my site. I've also tried posting the video directly to my page so they don't have to leave FB to hear it. Neither method did much. The reach is too low.

Then why not spend a few dollars to boost a couple of those posts and see if the fans engage. After you reach a few thousand (with boosted post) and your engagement is really high, you will know for a fact that FB is not delivering you the goods. Until then there will be a little question mark on your content quality or targeting.

By the way, have you got better engagement from other traffic sources? Or FB is the first thing you are trying?

Your reach is too low because of those people who are seeing your posts, very few are engaging with them. This points to your posted content not being interesting to your fans.

Ask your fans what they want using a boosted post - and then give it to them.
