GIF file as a profile image on Twitter

Hey guys, I've seen some people use profile photos or logos in GIF format on Twitter. I've uploaded my own GIF to be my profile image but it's not moving. Please, help. I don't know how to fix it.

    This was a hack that was possible sometime around 2013. However it hasn't been possible since then.

      Twitter is crazy not allowing its users to upload GIF logos. That's sad. Thanks.

      wow that's new to me. I never knew that was a thing. I've been using for like 5 years now and I don't remember ever seeing a profile GIF. I believe it though. I'd imagine they removed them because they were making loading times longer and taking away from the simplicity of it all.
