Tips on writing a successful blog content?

I'm not looking to start my own blog. I'm looking to write content for others. I've done a bit of googling, but I am not coming up with anything good.

I'm looking for advice on how to create quality/polished blog content. I believe I am a fairly good writer. I am looking to find tips on mastering the details that make the difference between simply having a good article and having a good blog post.

In a sentence, I'm trying to learn the science of successful blogging.

Thank you in advance.

I am no expert in this field of writing but If you think you are a good writer then write whatever it is that you want to write. After all, the key would be the value and the quality of content you can give to your readers. You can always re-read your work and see if it is something that your readers will value.

    Copywriter here.

The best way to learn the art of writing a successful blog post is to actually read blogs and certain websites which focus dishing out well-written content for their users.

I recommend checking out Cracked.com - the way they write is top class, humorous and extremely engaging.

Speaking of engaging content, the master key to blogging is the ability to make your words cause your readers to act.

    Good luck!

Reading quality material has been suggested here many times, and it's advice that I agree with.

Read it. Study it. Then apply what you've learned.

I think you should know your audience, to whom you are going to write and then try to interest it.

There are a few rules of thumb while writing effective blogs.

    1) Keep it short to medium length - 250 to 350 words

    2) Add one internal and one external link for increasing traffic

    3) Add as many images as possilbe. This will keep the audience engaged throughout the blog.

    4) Make your titles very catchy. This will definitely drive a lot of interest

    5) Lists, and making use of words such as 'effective', 'successful', 'leader' drive interst. Though you cannot write all your blogs in this style, keep this in mind.

    Hello,
The website platforms that organizations can leverage for content sharing include the company website, blog, microsites, PPC, SEO, and RSS, to name a few. It’s also important to encourage people to share their thoughts. For example, on blog posts include “leave a reply” or “share your thoughts.”

Recognize your audience and analyze what they would like to know about.
When you write the article it must have a point that can be communicated to the readers.
The article must have an organized structure.
Have a unique approach and it must be reflected in the content.
Proofread and check for grammatical errors in your article.
Make a title which is interesting as well as appropriate to the article.
Share the written blog article and welcome any feedbacks.

Why don't you start your own blog... so people can get to know you.

Share content what you are passionate about... we all have a story in us in our own words.

Then you will have some credibility yourself and then approach others to be a guest blogger on their sites.

Always work on branding you... you will never know what exciting world that could open up for you in the future.

    Cheers

Well, what good is a beautifully written blog if no one is around to read it?
First figure out what you will write about? what is your specialty? where does your passion lie?once you have figured out your niche, make sure you write blogs that contribute real value to your readers. Make it informative, engaging, fantastically readable. Make it amazing!
Next, each blog should be at least 500 words long. but 1500 words is awesome. It should never be plagiarized, write well-researched original content.
These tips work whether you are writing for your own blog, or freelancing your services!

    Good luck.

My biggest tip is make the content digestible.

If people see a sea of unbroken text they're likely to be repelled. Break the content up into sections with catchy sub-headings and you're likely to boost engagement.
