How to track Viral traffic

I am planning to set up a viral campaign..

Does any one know what is the right way to track it.

any tools that you suggest would be useful..

    For viral traffic you will need a softweare that provides anyone that gets in your website an unique link to promote for a freebie but the softwear i knew is not for sale anymore, i am here to ask somebody for that information. i do not know how to post a question as you has done, so if you find a godd one, let me know please

      If you are looking for FB, LI or Twitter view tracking, you can use Advo.Ninja. This will actually show how many views your article received and from which social media.

    There are many ways to track campaigns, so I'm not sure of a "right" one. Something that comes to mind right away is the old method of appending a tracking ID to the end of a page's URL and then checking traffic logs later on. Of course, if you're handy with cookies, you can probably gather a lot more info than what your traffic logs provide.

    Another way is through Google Analytics, which provides tools specifically built for tracking.
