Facebook Ads or Google Adwords?

I ran a Facebook Like campaign and was extremely frustrated with the results. I chose my keywords and interest targeting and received likes from random users who I know will never use the product. Subsequently one of the individuals who liked the business page started liking photos on the personal page. Shortly thereafter, a notification was received stating the user accepted my friend request. A friend request that was never sent! Has anyone experienced similar results?. Are Facebook Ads really worth it or should I build a following organically through content creation and spend the money on Adwords?

    Best is to run the campaign for atleast 2 weeks to get some insight that you should progress it with or not. But upto now for me, Facebook really works well for me. You just need to see the potential of your target group on any platform you are going to use - whether its Facebook or Google AdWords
