Facebook "Like" Ad Campaign - Are those people just as engaged as Organic "Likers"?

Hey there everyone!

I've had relative success with Facebook ads, they have performed best with live events that I've thrown. I did a couple of "like" campaigns in the past and increased my "likes", but did not put as much energy into them as I should have.

Now I want to really grow my audience and in addition to doing some social and traditional PR, I want to run a Facebook Ad campaign for "likes". I know my audience, but my main concern is if I run ads, will those who "like" my page be as engaged as someone who "likes" my page organically?

Does it make a difference as long as it is targeted and I post engaging relevant content or does the interest decline because I actually paid for the "likes" (paid for meaning running a traditional FB ad campaign, NOT buying fake "likes")?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Yes, they are very engaged if you target properly. I'm currently running a like campaign for a brand new page that I launched three days ago. In less than 3 days, I've accrued over 300 fans at a cost of less than $30.

My likes from US are costing me $0.06 each and I'm getting lots of likes on my posts on the page.

This is consistent with my experiences with my other half dozen or so pages.

There will be no difference. Things which are being liked by people are visible on their friends timelines in the same way as sponsored ads. They just not going to see that 'John Doe like this page'.

If you know already your audience there will be no problem for you to build proper campaign and get awesome results with it

    Good Luck!
