Facebook Ads Question
1) I notice when i set to a very low daily budget, e.g. $5 or $10, I get very cheap page likes or clicks (depending on the objective i set). However when i run ads for my clients on a bigger budget, $50 a day or $100 a day, the cost per objective increases ALOT. anyone knows why?
2) when i set a very broad targeting for my ads, i get a low cost per objective. e.g. $0.10 per page like, or 0.05 per website click. However when i start to narrow my targeting (based on custom audience), the page like, website click costs increases by 5 times or more. I thought FB charges by impressions. So if i narrow down my target, with less impressions it should be cheaper?
I make reference to custom audience, look alike attributes when I narrow my target. For example, FB insights show that married women responds better to my ads. However once I change my target to just married women, the costs starts to jump up.
Appreciate opinions. Thanks!
