Hi,
I am managing an e-commerce web design companiy's social media pages. How to increase my fb page likes and twitter followers? Which type of posts are I focused for attracting users? Can anyone help me?

    1) make sure you have the page profile completed, with right pictures and background pictures.

    2) Invite people by using,
    a) Suggest Page to Email Contacts
    b) Invite friends

    3) Share, share and share your content across social networks
    a) Ask friends of business to share content as often as possible.
    You can automate the whole organic sharing by using tools like Advo.Ninja.

    4) Add a Call to Action (CTA)
    a) Based on Mailchimp's suggestions words like 'Sign Up' and 'Buy Now' will not get great traction. Instead use 'watch video', 'use app' or 'play game' type of CTA.

      Post informative, high quality content that is of value to whomever you're targeting.
      Don't always ask for something, pay forward by bringing value in 2 out of every 3 posts. If you ask for a follow 1 out of 3 times then you are fundamentally viewed as someone who brings value and doesn't just focus on what they want. Also some good advise above like joining communities, people tend to care more about people in their community. It's trial and error, gifts, questions, humor and themed days can all help too.

    I think the main thing is to share as often as you can using hash tags in your posts. Join relevant groups and share your page there.

    Keep promoting the page...and keep posting the text/images, but not too frequent.
    Invite friends to like your page. hashtag the relevant words.
    Also you can promote your page by scheduling it properly. Then try to involve the people in discussions in comment box. and then encourage them to refer this page to their friends.

    Make your posts have a more 'human feel' .... this will engage replies and tweets towards your profile... and what this does is make your audience point at YOU in theyre friends/followers news feeds.

      it sounds funny to read people saying, "post meaningful and informative content." Facebook has the most crap and worthless posts of any site online. If you invite too many "Friends" they will block you.

      Posting good pictures and slowly adding friends and friends of friends seems to be the technique that works best.(from my experience at least) If you move too fast it seems to raise red flags

    To get better results, Start on Facebook. Do you know how to create new profiles? make it simple use old profiles if you have

    Example. Learn, if you have 10 fb profiles with 5000 real and targeted friends + Auto posting tools with scheduler stuff, every 5 hours you post a new interesting video's or image with eye catching caption and link from your fan-page.     Use instagram and twitter more than facebook if you dont want to spend on advertisements.. Use tagfire or tagsforlikes to find the right hashtags .. I increased my twitter and instagram following to 5k within a week by using right hashtags and following relevant ppl who followed me back..
    if it is ecommerce, i would suggest using facebook ads for ur most attractive products.. use website click ad and then apply retargeting code on ur website.. Cart abandonment will b reduced and u will b able to sell more products as well.

    1. Identify which social media platforms your target customers are using and use those too. Are there more customers to be found on , or on specialist blogs and forums?

    2. Research the social media your customers are using. How do other businesses use them? Make a note of what works and what doesn’t.

    6. Apply your branding guidelines to your profiles to maintain consistency and establish your visual identity quickly.

    7. Use a tone that is appropriate to the platform. Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter are snappy and informal, so you can afford to be light-hearted at times.

    8. Make a fan page the hub of your online community if using Facebook. If using Twitter, monitor mentions of your business, product or service to track potential followers. If you participate in forums, always provide a link to your website, your fan page, your blog or your Twitter account.

    9. Listen and respond to feedback, and offer help and advice — don’t simply broadcast sales messages; have conversations with your customers.

    10. Inform your audience about your sector and link to other sources of information, such as news stories, videos and podcasts. Share your knowledge.
