Ranking youtube videos. Which is better social media or backlinks?

If you were meant to choose between using social media(Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) or using backlinks to rank your youtube videos which would you choose and why.

        hello brother
        it is really interesting questions and answer is really simple
        youtube doesn't care that backlinks

        1-make video upload it in private mode...make it seo perfect (on-page)
        2-unlisted it
        3-find the relevant communities on g+ facebook and other social media sites.then if u get 100+ view than make it public and u are started getting rank
