If you've never run a campaign, how do you know it's "too much"? Is your page a fitness site, a One Direction fan club, a lawyer, a dentist, a surgeon, a plumber, an SEO agency, an ecommerce jewelry site, a homebuilder, a rubber band dealer? Do you sell worldwide or a 10-mile radius? Do you make $5 per client or $5,000? It all depends.

If you want to decrease the cost per like, target people more precisely. Scrap facebook groups for facebook emails and make an ad with that audience. If you want more details, you can reach me in pm. Good luck !

I am advertising in the US, my "Likes" fluctuate for a daily average between .07- .10 per day now. I am new to FB marketing when I first began about a week ago it was at .40 per "Like" then after optimizing I brought down.

I only do pay for Facebook likes when I have a less than 500 likes on page. After I reach that, I do dark posts or boost photos/post. The cost is about 0.05$ to 0.35$ per engagement.

Guys the best way to get cheap likes is to post a video and boost it. People tend to share video more generally. When they share it, It brings likes. I am doing this to get around 800-900 likes daily with just 2$.
Every video wont get the cheap rate. So i would try to boost every new video and few out of many videos will get me the cheapest rate i dont know how they decide to give cheap boosting or expensive boosting but some videos gets real cheap rates.

You have actually stolen my words this is the thing which is going to work and its way more better and safer than buying likes. Another thing that works, are images with motivational stuff. I have seen that the success elements changes from country to country, like in Asian countries you can earn a lot of likes by posting images related to the religion

For US Likes I pay anywhere from around 2 cents to $5 per. You can get cheaper likes from Thailand and Philippines and other places if you want English speakers but don't need US.

This all depends on the niche. As onehalf and malik151 mentioned, sometimes it is more effective (even for pure Likes numbers) to boost posts.

One good thing about Facebook is you can usually get an idea of how something is going if you can afford to test $1.

I ran a campaign for Likes, in the USA, that lasted about two months.

The first two weeks my cost was around .15 per like. But I did lots of split testing. By the third week I was paying .05 per like. By the fourth week, and for the rest of the campaign, I was paying .02 - .03 per Like.

You asked about "Likes". The price I gave is for Likes.

When I run campaigns to get Clicks (I'm actually running 4 ads for clicks right now) the price varies wildly until I hone the ad through split testing.

For my current Ads, my highest CPC is .47 and my lowest is .10

I expect to get the .10 down to around .07 with additional testing.

It depends of how good you are at setting our campaing. I know people who are able to get 1K likes for only 100$ or even 10K. Before starting your campaign just think what audience you would liek to rach and what info this audience like, then post relevant information and create promotion. After your post gets some like, it will force interest of others who see it on their news feed. If you be able to create for example your post viral, jsut imagine how many likes your page could get even you invest only 100$ for the start. So there is no correct number of likes your page could receive, because it depends on your skills and how well you do your research. You can always try to use tools like Google Trend or Google Alerts to seek for new ideas and waht the most part of the world are interested too

    +10 months ago, 12,000 likes for $136
It was geo-targeted to Canada and using interest-based targeting

Never ran a campaign as good since, now I'm averaging $0.10 - $0.15 per like at the lowest end.
