Hi Jocelyn. You do have to have a FB personal account in order to have a FB Page. However, you can make your personal page completely private.

      Hope that helps.

I cant find anything on my personal page that shows what pages I manage. Is that information available somewhere?

It should be on the top left sidebar of your Home page (timeline), rather than your
          profile page.

It's impossible. But you can create a page and manage it from your personal account, it's useful.

No you cannot. Because Facebook pages can only be managed by someone who is logged into Facebook with a personal account. Several people can manage the same page but each one needs his/her own Facebook account.

You can keep business and personal separate! No one ever has to know who the business page owner is unless you add your personal account as the "featured page owner". Most people who actually do want their accounts linked don't even know how to do that. You do need to set up a personal account in order to create a business page, and you can only create one personal account

You need a personal profile to create and manage the brand page, as others have advised.

One thing I would caution against is making a fake profile. I say this because I have seen some people lose their pages and accounts, including Facebook Ad accounts, when they used fake profiles and then were unable to authenticate them when requested.

As others have mentioned, there are ways to hide your personal association with the page. If you don't want to do any personal activity on Facebook, you don't have to. Just don't "friend" or interact with anyone.

It is not imperative that you use your personal account for the creation of the page, you can create another account and then create and manage the page from there, as it is not possible to run or create any page without the facebook account.
    Hope it will help you.
    Best of Luck!

Uhhh, no you cannot create a page without an account. When you click on "create a page" FB asks you to login...can't login without an account so you DO need to have an account already set up before you can create a page.

Yes, you need an account to create the page on Facebook. But, you do not require to have a business email unlike LinkedIn.
On LinkedIn you need to have company email address for creating a page for a business.

This is not an exhaustive checklist to create a FB page, but things to remember.

    1) Upload pictures with right dimensions (See attachment 1)

    2) Write crisp 'About' page. For example, if 'mission' is not critical, skip it. This page is very clever in including other social network information. (See attachment 2)

    3) Do not make narrow choices on 'Preferred Page Audience'

    4) Add inviting Call to Action (CTA)

Based on Mailchimp's suggestions, phrases such as 'Sign Up' and 'Buy/Shop Now' will get low traction. Applying the same psychology, go for phrases such as 'watch video', 'use app' and 'play game' type of CTA that readily welcomes your audience.

    5) Share, share and share your content across social networks.

Ask friends of business to share content as often as possible.
You can automate the whole organic sharing by using tools like Advo.Ninja.
