What do you do to scale up Pinterest traffic?

I have a bot that i'm using with a few accounts that is bringing me some traffic daily, but it's not really enough. If I created more accounts would that be the way to increase the amount of traffic?

I didn't know that they had such a thing for that. Anyway, the traffic you can get to your niche sites really depends on the niche you're in. In other words, there's a cap. Some niches just don't offer a lot of traffic from that site, while others have to potential to get more. Once you've exhausted it (by getting all the followers you can), you kind of just have to move on to another social media platform. You got to find the platform that the buyers in your niche use the most.

Pinterest is rife with people targeted for my niche, does that mean creating more accounts should scale up my traffic?

You could, but I suggest just building your current account with more followers and quality pins. If you also have a personal account it helps to pin some of your business account's pins there as well, just to get them in front of more people.

In addition to my other reply, if you wish, you can start building multiple accounts simultaneously, But be careful to do 1 account per ip address otherwise you could get banned.

    Hi there!

Yes creating more accounts may increase your traffic, but it can take you a lot of time and effort.

I suggest you focus more on high quality post in pinterest and spend time in manual posting not just the bot.

Quality is still better than quantity. So I prefer you focus on quality, because it can also build up your name.

    Thanks

The best way I've found to build social accounts is to avoid using bots (they will get you banned, and it's specifically stated in just about every networks TOS), and follow people in your niche until you get some follows back. Usually the follow back rate is around %1. Do this for awhile until you get a small following, now you need to post quality content, stuff that people will share. Once people start sharing you will get more followers, and keep doing this. Once you hit a certain amount it becomes auto-pilot, and it becomes a snowball effect. I have a tumblr account that gets around 50-100 new followers a day, whether I post every day on it or not.

I do know some pro mention create a lot of boards inside your account. JUST one account will do but inside have different niche boards related to your main niche.

Presently I just put all whole to just one board as I deal with fitness.

I do know is a mistake but I just want to focus just just one board.

Better to build a following with one account, but have very specific interest boards each targeted to the right people. Targeting is everything!

Make sure you use good descriptive descriptions with hashtags and comment with alternative links back to your content e.g. say something nice and beneficial in your comment and if you have a RELEVANT board that would be helpful to the people reading that pin, add a link to the board in the comment (not your website).

This is a very powerful way to get followers, as well as lots of shares and repins and they will be targeted relevant people!

I do this using Ninjapinner but you need to be really careful to write relevant comments to the posts with any automation software. Comments are my secret weapon and following other pinners with similar topics!

I use Google plus and Pinterest and get consistently good conversion rates to sales compared to other social media for website clients from using specific techniques like this to do so.

My wife managed to get more than 4K visitors daily to her website using Pinterest only...So the traffic is coming only from Pinterest...Then she has been contacted by a few advertisers and she put 3 banners on her website that bring $2k/monthly...Nice shot maya loubimaya

She did nothing really special to achieve this result...she posted around 20-30 posts/pictures on her website with a few lines of content for a 3-4 months...Now she posts only 3-5 posts/pictures daily and traffic is still growing!

Hey bro, Did your wife repined a lot of pics/posts too or is most of the stuff she pinned was her own? Those are some great numbers..

Form my experience,Pinterest is more about catchy things, fashion, cooking, handicrafts, travelling etc.etc. Try to post motivational quotes, good infografics about anything, and as well as your own things - blogs, posters of your interests. I'm getting a more/less good traffic now.

How Vincent got started with Pinterest

While Vincent has successfully used Twitter and Facebook for his social media clients, he found neither site could drive much traffic to his blog.

Curious about Pinterest’s rapid early growth, he explored the site and discovered a fair amount of traffic going to his blog from it. That is when he decided it was the site he needed to be on.

I would suggest slowly building up your accounts. Follow people, like stuff, repin things. 80-100 items per day and follow around 200-300 people a day.

After a few weeks of this, start pinning from your own site, mixed in with the repins. In about 2 months time you should have around 3-5k followers and a good amount of repins on your pins. You can start pinning a higher percentage of pins from your site after this amount of time as well.

If you're not seeing a decent amount of traffic after this (I get around 2k uniques a day from each of my accounts), you're spamming or have a bad niche.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you seem impatient, and impatience with pinterest will cause you to fail. Slow and steady, and you'll start seeing a lot of traffic.
