I have a Tumblr Blog. How many times a day can I make a post with a link to my website. What should I do to get visitors to my website? What does Tumblr allow or how many times will Tumblr ALLOW ME to make posts to the same website

You should try to offer them something on the website that they won't see on your Tumblr account. I don't know exactly how many times you can mention your website but even so, your followers will get annoyed by it if you do it when there's nothing in them for them. Hope this answer helps.

    1. As many times as you want, depends on how much you wan to annoy your followers.

    2. Offer them something on your website which they cannot get on Tumblr, e-book, pictures, videos, whatever really.

    3. I'm pretty sure you can link back to your real website as many times as you'd like, as long as you keep this link spam on your own blog.

Like always, it's a lot easier to help you if you can provide us with more details.

    What's your Tumblr blog about?
    What's your real website about?
How are you engaging with your followers at the moment?
What kind of content do you have on your website? Text, videos, photos?

I don't think Tumblr will really limit how many times you could post, but your followers are bound to get annoyed if you post the same content over and over. Try and post 'teaser' posts like others before me had mentioned that will entice people to visit your website for more.

If you are pushing an ebook, post a quote from the book pasted over a royalty free image with a link back to your site to purchase the full copy.

    Hope this helps.

Even you post a lot with link going to your website, there's no assurance that it will drive traffic if your followers are not interested to what you are posting. Find followers that really love to engage with what content you have.

Post as many as you want, until your followers get annoyed and unfollow you

When starting out on Tumblr, you'll find many visual themes to choose from. Some cost money and some are free. Whichever you pick, make sure the theme itself is clean. Many themes on Tumblr use overwhelming colors and too many boxes on one page. These are typically hard to follow and read. Keep your theme simple and your posts streamlined. This keeps the reader engaged and encourages them to revisit your page.
