I should disagree with you. In fact, facebook serves my ads with the lower cost and gains more conversations than adwords + twitter ads + bing ads could offer. I work in VPS hosting busness and facebook saved me thousands of $. Everything depends of how you good on doing research and setting your campaign. I believe you should go deeper into facebook ads. There are some nice courses online by Brad Batesole at Lynda.

I know of people who are getting massive amounts of traffic with facebook ads. It's easy to create a negative, sweeping statement when you've failed at something but it doesn't mean that others are also failing.

Social Media forum is full of warriors who had the same experiences as the OP. Facebook ads campaigns burn your money very fast, and it brings very dissapointing results for almost everyone

You're right! They don't but your ad can lead them into the mindset to buy from you if its done right. Facebook is great fro lead generation from my experience.

    • The traffic source doesn't suck, so don't blame it...

It's either your targeting, your ad or your offer that's not
      working.

Saying they are waste of money and telling people
to no use it just because your results weren't that great is
      ridiculous.

If you have 99% followers from Asia and you have a barbershop from Nebraska, yes then you're right. But if you have normal followers, then Facebook is a great source of followers and potential buyers.

I dont think so, Braznyc. The FB is the biggest social network, anyone want sell product/service, they oftent choose FB. You wast a lot of money and you feel it not effective, beacause you definite target customer wrong. Otherwise, if you use personal account for FB ads, the cost will hight. It's stubid way I had done. At present, I can minimize costs for FB ads.
