Can't post bit.ly clickbank link on facebook ???

Hi,

I'm trying to post an offer from clickbank on facebook. I've chosen a clickbank offer to promote and shortened the URL via bit.ly. However, when I'm trying to post it on facebook, I get an error that 'this link links to unsafe website, please remove this link in order to continue'. How can I post that affiliate link and promote it through Facebook post ?

    Hi,

Facebook system consider clickbank to be unsafe and it will not let you post offers pertaining to clickbank. Here is a thread from the past which discusses the same issue.

This sucks... I wanted to take some advantage of black friday that is pretty soon. How do people promote their clickbank products if they can't use facebook ? Or is there a way to bypass this posting issue ?

You can use a bit.ly link to direct people to your offer UNDERNEATH your post. Simply type in: Get the offer here using this link. I do this all the time for Clickbank and JVZoo affiliate links. You can repeat the post/link several times a day (schedule these posts and then add your comment link) to keep attracting eyeballs.

The other thing you can do is create a Facebook post using Canva and make your entire image a clickable link by typing in your affiliate url into the link option on your image before you save and download it as a PNG. Post the image to your FB page. Use the text: Click on the image to learn more as your post message.

Would that get me in trouble since it's a workaround their limitation?

I am trying to decide between marketing directly on facebook or trying to get them to a blog and to get them signed up for a newsletter, but I fear I'll be losing potential buyers in the process.

They can tell that it redirects to Clickbank. You'd have to cloak/iFrame.
