Will this Facebook contest work? Advice please...

Here is the plan:
Facebook contest to clients local target market ($100 fb spend max). We will be giving away 2 FRONT ROW SEATS to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers home game. The promo will run for 6 months and I will charge my client around $800.

Anyone have experience doing contests for clients?

I plan on directing traffic to a landing page to collect email addresses, should I go for followers instead?

Any good software to run such a campaign?

Do you think this would be a good value for my clients?

I think it is a good idea that you are trying. This is just one of the very many things that you ought to embrace so that you can have an active social media presence. be sure that you plan for the contest very well so that people can have a real sense of it and aspire to win. Hype it across several groups you are in so that you widen the market scope. You can then put a link to the landing page where they will submit their emails for participation.

Go get the Facebook Contest App and use that for the contest. I use that for one of the webshops I'm helping with marketing, and it works well. The app costs about $18 a month I think, and you can run unlimited contests. When it's done you can download an excel file with all the info they leave, like email address....we then import them into Mailchimp.
I've had pretty good results with this, but we've spent some money as well..I am not sure a $100 will do, hard to say. Remember, do not make the mistake that the people registering has to share the contest to be able to win....that CAN get you banned...

Thank you so much. Will not want them to share as ads will be targeted to my clients ideal customer.

True but I would profit very nicely selling these tickets by themselves anyway, not easy to get. It's a great value to them, hope it sells out quickly for me, will see soon.
