Pinterest is a great source of traffic. It is a good way to get backlinks to your website as well since you are getting back into seo.

I would suggest your take advantage of that account you have laying around, and start mastering the art of pinterest.

Also if you have a business account they have an awesome analytic tool you can use to see how your engagement is doing with your posts.

Pinterest is not worth nowadays I have 2 accounts for pinterest one with 13k followers and second with 5.5k, I am adding around 100 to 150 pin daily but visitors ratio is just 5-6/day and no conversion

This really depends on your products and your pins. Pinterest works best when you sell physical products, especially when you have good photos and properly target your board. Followers count is not a good indicator - especially if you have purchased followers or used some of those tricks to try to get them. Most of my boards have very few followers - under 500. Yet I get good traffic and conversions from them and some get a lot of repins.

And yes, I use Pinterest myself several times a month at least.

I use Pinterest. While Pinterest can allow you to exponentially grow the viewership of content posted, it can also create a huge amount of backlinking for your site. In SEO terms, a backlink is an invaluable thing to have, as search engines create page rankings by taking into account how many outside links lead people back to your site. With proper usage of Pinterest, you easily create many of these useful backlinks to your site.

ya i am using pinterest. i think pinterest is the best social media for spread our marketing messages. Good social network for seo. you must always add pins to right board. Try to get more repins..

I thought it was good if you had a business selling niche physical products.

Don't know how good it would be for info marketing, list building etc. Certainly doesn't get talked about that much here compared to Facebook and Twitter.

You can use Pinterest. It's a great source of traffic. Mostly over 70% users are females in Pinterest, so if you can manage to engage with your followers appropriately, you'll surely get great rewards from that social network channel.

Pinterest is a great traffic source. You do have to keep your boards clean though. I've had results from eliminating pins with less than 3 repins so my boards only have pins with a good amount of re-pins. Since I started doing that my traffic has steadily increased by significant amounts each week. I give the pins about two weeks to see if they will get any traction and then eliminate. Since I started doing that my reach has been rising. I read that tip on a blog somewhere. It seems to be producing better results than just pinning frequently. I've only been adding like 20 or so.

pinterest is still a great source of traffic. it is true that there are lots of spammers but if you are careful about your pinterest presence then ofcourse it will help you to grow a solid list of real users.

Pinterest definitely should be part of your free traffic strategy. I'm getting 1-2 sign-ups or leads to my squeeze pages daily and is costing me nothing other than time to maintain... but its fun time and is a good way to take a break from other mundane tasks

Personally i use pinterest and also using pinterest for my all business site. Now a days pinterest is a great traffic source. It's not only targeted source but also full of buyer traffic. I think you are not utilize pinterest properly. You should know more about Pinterest

I use pinterest and get quite a lot of traffic from it (between 100-150 pinterest visitors a day). You will benefit from it if you pin other peoples content as well as your own. I have over 20,000 followers so a large following helps a lot too.
