Why Join Facebook

After many many years of listening to people telling me I need to use facebook to promote my website and drive traffic as well as being told to join groups I am wondering why did I bother.

I joined a couple groups that are in my niche only to find out I can only post in the group as myself not as my business page. So tell me why bother joining a group if we can't post as our business.

Watching old how to videos on youtube I know people used to be able to post as there business page in groups.

    Now posting as a yourself instead of a business can be an advantage. People will rather do business with a real person instead of an unknown business. Connect with your audience on a personal level.

    Show them that you are a real person. Give them value, and then you can tell them to check out your business page.

  • You may use facebook Ads Campaign for website promotion. You already made business page, so ad campaign is better way.

  • Having FB ad campaign is better than posting on every group for you. But if you make a good appealing profile of your own and sharing and commenting on groups can work too, as people would love to hear from a person than business.
