Social Media: Share or Follow?

I'm using one of the social media tools in my wordpress site. I have the choice of placing buttons that will let someone "share" the page or "follow" the page - i.e to facebook. twitter, G+. Which should i use?

    I believe if somebody retweets or shares your article, Twitter will ask them to follow your Twitter page after the retweet.

    It is exponentially easier to get a follow than a share. And it is exponentially easier to make someone who follows you loyal and coming back to your site compared to a share.

    I think you should keep follow button on the website. For share anyone can share same things many time, but when it comes to follow , one can follow that only one time. So, I think follow is better than share.

      If your website in totally information based like blog or informative post on any topic then share button will be the best to put but if it is business/service based website at which just business overview and products are listed then I would like to recommend follow button to put on the website.
