I have around 2750 likes on my page but mostly in Philippino's since the ads for most likes were cheap. Anyways I noticed when posting regular pictures, memes etc.. I get ton of likes and 500+ people reaching. When I do my wordpress blog post I barley even get a few people just rarely I would get some attention on a few post, it's like the blog post don't even exist. Is my content that bad? or I configured something wrong? I got my instagram and twitter connected to my facebook page as well.

When I go on this forum, people make it like easy as hell, but when I actually try to do it, extremely tough trying to break even. I'm really trying to get my blog going, and if people are not interacting to my blog post how am I suppose to drive traffic to my blog let alone make money off of it while I'm paying hosting/month. Need some help here.

Make sure your Blog Headline is catching the eye of your targeted visitors. Write attractive description about the blog that you have written which inspire people of click on that link.

Are you seeing any traffic from facebook on your WordPress blog?

Might be worth doing some A/B on this one.

A: post a regular link to your Facebook with the standard article preview
B: post a photo related to your link, add the headline and (shortened) link after into the text field.

The latter worked okay for me for a while, not sure if it helps reach now.

Let me know how you get on.

How about creating a custom image with a link that points to your blog?

It seems like your audience enjoy those visuals.

It is always easier to rank on social network. Unless you are a really big website, people will always prefer Facebook or Twitter. This is where the challenge lies; converting good results in social media to things that can be used for your own blog.

A lot of your content won't attract readers on FB.

The first post on your blog right now is 'Leaked Trademark Filings of Pokemon Sun'.

Honestly, very few people care about trademark filings. The kind to like a Pokemon page on FB are even less likely to click through.

    Do these two things:

    1. Make your content titles + images more attractive to your readers. Think Buzzfeed, not NYTimes

    2. Try adding links to your blog post in the description of an image. I.e. upload a relevant Pokemon-themed image, then add your link 2-3 times in the image description. This works very well for Cracked.com

So you are saying you paid for the likes?

      Good luck with that

Some irony there. Have to wonder if OP has permission to be using the name pokemon in the domain name.

The ads in that blog are not targeted. Bigger problem, you have to drive targeted traffic to the blog first to get your honest "interactions" and to test your options for monetizing at this point.

Looks like you are doing some kind of Pokemon news site?
Looks like you only started at the beginning of this month?

Oh and noticed an unanswered response to a question on the facebook wall page.

So here's some bad news. I just went and did a google search for Pokemon. Want to know what I learned?

I learned there was only ONE google sponsored ad on the page (where I'm living at least). It's for a product you can get at Walmart.

Tell me, in your research of this niche did you find anyone doing anything similar excluding the pages and pages I found of nintendo owned sites?

Thanks for all the responses, I paid like 80% of the likes for like $20, and now just trying to naturally get likes. Now its 10-20 likes a week, but I know its increasing. Can anyone show me a good example of a interactive blog post to make them click so I can better get a idea for Pokemon. They interact best to pics, memes, funny pics, cosplay etc..

This is the blog I'm aiming for is Join The Hype! - Hypun and I noticed several other Pokemon or gaming fan pages posting the same blog in all of them. All these fan pages have 200k+ likes. My strategy was I decided to focus on one audience, which is pokemon fans. Drive traffic to my blog through making money on adsense, amazon, ebay or any affiliates.

Just recently they released the Pokemon Anniversary that is why I'm covering some news on it. I want my blog to be more of insight covering interesting topics of pokemon such as "Best phones for Pokemon GO" I have a couple more I'm writing up. There is upcoming app called Pokemon GO similar to ingress coming out, and since I travel everywhere I was hoping to get into blogging about it before it is released. It's going to be one of the biggest releases on Pokemon altogether, there is youtubers already popping up trying to make money on it as well.
