When you put up a picture in Instagram are you suppose to upload all your hashtag (keywords) in every picture you upload in your Instagram account?

Also how can I find good hashtags (keywords) to use for my marketing?

    Yes indeed. You can post up to 30 hashtags. Research hashtags directly in Instagram under the Search tab by typing certain keywords in and seeing what the top results are-- it will generally list them with a number of how many people are posting to them. Alternatively click on the highest liked pictures and see what popular hashtags large accounts are using to promote their images.

    Yes it helps get more exposure with your pictures.

    You don't have to it -- but it's highly recommended.

    The only way to find out good hashtags on Instagram is to do a bit of research. Simply start searching for what you think it would work in your niche and see which ones are more popular.

    EnlighCity gave perfect advice.

    As for "am I supposed to" use hashtags, you must understand that with Instagram, you are trying to build an audience of followers... who will follow you... to your blog, to your squeeze page, to facebook... where ever you want to direct them.

    You DON'T want people to follow you if they have no interest in your niche. If you have a blog about wordpress themes, you don't want to post a pic of someone fishing and lure them to your wordpress themes blog. There's a disconnect. You'll get traffic but it will be the wrong traffic, what folks in the industry call "poorly qualified" traffic.

    Hashtag only things you want people to join you in, and make the image or photo or video relevant to that hashtag, and relevant to the link you have in your profile (to your blog, ie.).

        You can't put clickable links in posts/comments. If people are interested in what you're sharing, they can click on your profile where you have ONE clickable link to the site you most want to promote... ie, your blog, FB page, whatever.

        PS: There are apps that help you put clickable links on your images, not sure how that works though.

    You can use only a limited number of hashtags per post.

    There's an app you can download wherein you will find the most used hashtags to gain more likes and generate more viewers.

    Like any social media platform, you've got to work hard to address a very narrow niche group (use hashtags), and then give them real quality posts/images/videos. You have to do this consistently over a period of time.

    It's a lot of time and work but the traffic is free and engaged if you're doing it right.

    I suggest you look at popular competitors in your niche. See what kind of things they're doing, see the hashtags they use, their profile, and follow them back to their site to see how they're engaging with folks who do go to their site. This should give you a real good path to follow (not copy, but emulate)..

    Yes you can, but don't use too much hashtag on it. Believe me it doesn't look good if you are marketing, plus you can just stick to the most appropriate hashtag for your post.

    I read somewhere that Instagram is supported by iPhone & Android phones and other phones like Windows, Blackberry doesn't support instagram and that might be the reason not to get business leads or good in promoting business.
