Perfect posting frequency on Facebook and Google+

I read in Coshedulle post (http://coschedule.com/blog/social-media-best-practices/) that perfect posting frequency on Facebook and Google+ are:
- 1 Facebook post a day (2 posts per day if your audience is more than 10,000 friends)
- 2 Google+ posts every weekday

For me, it looks too little.

I am posting four times a day (two images and two links) on my Facebook ad Google+ pages. But when I look to other Facebook pages (for example https://www.facebook.com/BuzzFeed/) they post every hour. Basically, I can't find any big Facebook page that post frequency will be 2 a day.

What is your opinion about posting frequency on Facebook or Google+?

    • No problem to post 4-10 times per day. Your posts may be image and after 2 hours link. No priblems about reach wirh this method.
  • The more you post the bigger chances that some posts will shoot with bigger engagement and reach, cause as we know not any post is successful. So, the bigger amount is better, but the quality of content is the main thing.
  • You have to keep in mind the quality of the content of your post. Make sure that your post has sense.

    There's no such thing as too many post if your post has a perfect sense and not a spam.
  • I think it depends on your audience and your reach. Like if I have a global reach, I'd post at least 1-2 per timezone. That way my posts are visible to the most number people with the least amount of effort.

    I guess it all depends on your niche and what you are posting. If you have an entertainment page then you can post as many posts you want but if it your business page and you are gonna share something about your business then it would be enough to post 2-3 posts on daily basis as too many posts will likely lead you to lose your friends who are not seeing much interesting or beneficial for themselves on your page and they have to see posts about your business again and again several times a day which may irritate them.
