How can pinterest be used for marketing?

I have good number of followers but traffic from Pinterest is very low. I am not able to use this platform to bring traffic. is it worth spending time on Pinterest? If you have succeeded please give me some tips.

(I have 8 boards and 32 Pins 300+ followers)

    May I know what is your niche in Pinterest? If you think all you are doing is spending a lot of time and energy on Pinterest with only low conversions as a result then maybe you need to focus elsewhere where there are higher chances of getting good leads and conversions from your audience.

    Time is essential when promoting You can go for FB and Twitter instead where more people are likely going to see it.

      Hi,

      Thanks for reply. My niche is Web Dev. Web Designing (IT Services). Yes i am active on fb and Twitter but i was just curious to know about chances of success in Pinterest.
      I have not got any reply i guess it means there are very less people using Pinterest for marketing.

      yeah ! i completely agree with you... use multiple social media channels to each your target audience.

    In your pinterest account you got many followers and I think you must increased your numbers of boards or pins that helps more you to interact with other people and also gives you good traffic. And also you do do commenting on others pins, it also helpful.

    Well since you already have a good number of followers (as you say) I guess that's a start. It's just a matter of getting your followers engaged with the posts you make. You have to remember though, Pinterest is growing but not as big as FB, Twitter and Instagram. Have you tried using instagram?

    Hi Joseph,

    You have to monetize time zone. Post your pin to maintenance the time. Post attractive images with content. Comment other pins. And It will be most helpful to join group board and post your pin there.

    2. Pin often and consistently so your Pins get seen in your Followers’ feeds
    3. Return the favour and follow your Followers

    Tbh, 300 followers is nothing.

    Have at least 10k followers and have a good legit website to back your accounts to be able to join pin boards which allows you to pin your website content to those boards and in return you'll get much more traffic out of that. Not a lot people know this.
