Go to Facebook and all will be explained. Facebook explains everything. What you don't find at Facebook will be found for free on the net.

There's far too much to learn for a forum response.

Oh, and to join a Facebook group, all you have to do is go to the group page and click on join. If you already have a page of your own, that is. You have to belong to Facebook to join FB groups.

What are you trying to do? Why do you want to join so many lists? Sounds shady. It may be not, but it does. That's probably why alot of people hasn't answered your question.

If you're asking if you can target facebook groups in ads, you cannot.

If you're asking to join the groups to promote your product, you should know that most groups have rules that don't allow that and consider it spamming.
That rule is widely stated by the admins in their group rules or pinned posts.
If you try anyway, you will most likely just be kicked out and your post deleted.

If you have other intentions then let us know what you are trying to do.

What is your intention joining into groups?
Ads? Job Offer? Events? More often, if an admin sees a profile with so many groups, they tend to disapprove it, why? Because they knew that the user will just spam their ads on the group.

From my experience, joining a lot of groups (say 20+) can and most likely backfire. For one, it's very difficult to keep tabs on all of them consistently. You won't be able to build a relationship with the group if that makes sense if you have so many. I would study around 5-7 groups that have many of your targeted niche inside of. And then share content from your fanpage in these groups. Posters above me said it right - if you seek to promote initially, you'll probably get banned. Just start by joining in the groups, posting, and getting to know the members. Then later, you may be able to promote. Or, if your content is good enough, people will click on your fanpage from the content posts and visit the page. And if your website is shown on your page, interested people will click on it.

Why exactly do you want to join a facebook group?

You should know what specific group you want to join.

You could easily join a group if it's open to public but you'll gonna have a hard time if it still needs approval by the admin.

This is just from personal experience, but I'd say that the number of Facebook groups you can join per day will depend heavily on how much Facebook "trusts" your account.

On my personal account, I can join 20-30 groups in the span of 5 minutes, and everything is fine.

If I create a brand new account and verify it, add a few friends, and then start joining groups, I can only join about 5 or 6 before Facebook gives me the 2 week block from joining and posting to groups.

As for choosing groups for your niche, I only go for groups with over ~50k members, but I'm after VERY high amounts of viral traffic, so you might be alright with smaller groups.

If you want to join fb groups then you join that group which is related to your niche, not all the groups. It give bad impression on them.

To join a group on facebook is simple, you can type something in the facebook search and it will pull up groups, click the group, then click join group, if it is open you will join, if it is closed, you wait to be approved.
Don't know how to find a group by searching, simple go to the left and click groups, Facebook will recommend you groups to join.
facebook groups you join will appear on the left of the home on facebook.

Personally I don't like facebook groups because of facebooks layout, you have to scroll down to find old post. This has caused problems for me, when I ask a question, someone may answer, then it gets shoved down by newer post and I can't see if anyone replied.

There are lots of benefits you get when you joined groups on any Social media platforms. But there is also very important that all the groups are not for promotion. In my opinion, you join few groups in a day like 5 or 6, because doing this your account not looks fake or doing any spamming on Facebook. Join on many Groups on Facebook you just know about what exactly you want and write it on search and click on groups. You find various answers easily, and then join only those groups that had same niche.

You can join groups by Searching on Facebook and entering your keyword.

There is a limit of 1000 groups.

    I think 1000 is enough.

  • May I ask what's the purpose behind it? If you only want to join for discussion, then you don't have any problem with it, but if you are thinking of promoting your products and services, you might get kicked out of the group. Most admins have rules and they are usually strict when it comes to promotions, unless it is a buy and sell group.
