You can try to build a list of potential buyers by offering a free service/download or a guide. Something that would be useful for your niche market then link it to an autoresponder.

Facebook is a big platform which helps the people to market their products but it is not simple as it looks. Getting likes and shares is not so easy but if you are interesting and your post is attractive then it can reach up to many people who can like it.comment on it or can share it as well.

As you say that you lost all your contacts, you can make other page and can join different groups in which you have joined previously. Do't worry, if your content is interesting you can get immense likes of your post rapidly.

  • You could also try running promotions or contests on your Facebook page then promote it or create ads for it. That way you can have a broader reach, get more customers, and makes sales.

Post interesting content. Make your products look more interesting, spice up your photography and copywriting skills. That way, your viewers will get more interested. You can also join groups and ask them to check you FB page out.

Studies say only 2% of you fans actually see your post on their wall. This is an average and depends on the engagement your page gets.

So your main goals should be to increase engagement and get more fans.

To do this you should post interesting and engaging stuff. Ask people their opinion and entice them to comment and share. People that like your post can be invited to like your page at a rate of 100/day.

One reason the organic reach is low is to "force" you to pay. The good new is you don't have to pay a lot, usually boosting a post for $5 can get you a lot of engagement and will also increase your organic reach. After you boost a few posts and get a decent engagement you will see that your new posts will also get a lot of engagement even if you don't pay.

If you have an offer or discount you can pin it at the top of your page,

    Good luck.

Aside from FB, you should also post your product updates, discounts and promotions to your Twitter and Instagram account. You can also post updates to your Linkedin profile if you have.

FB requires a bit of a subtle management including a mix of messages, shares, customer testimonials etc, as after all it is a community and your followers don't really want to feel bombarded with your sales messages time and time again.

If you're looking to get leads and translate to sales and enquiries there are a few things you might want to try. Before you try anything, make sure all of your functions are set up on Facebook including your 'call now' button and also you understand the analytics behind the page.

You might consider using a scheduling tool like Hootsuite or similar so that you are not having to punch out posts every day. You can sit down and write a series of posts when you are feeling inspired and schedule them at certain times of the day that may be suitable for your target market.

Facebook is a wonderful tool for promoting your products and services, finding new customers and gaining followers. If you are trying to 'sell' you really need to understand that you are trying to generate leads and push them to your website or get them to call you to make an order, so you need to ensure your CTA's are clear and you lay out exactly what you want the customer to do.

To get more active followers make sure your content is relevant. Share interesting content that your customers and fans expect from your page, not links. I would suggest also sharing images and videos. Don't share things that are too controversial or political that may be off putting, and stick to content that portrays your business in the online community as a professional outfit who delivers quality products and services.

Provide incentives to your fans on Facebook. Why should they follow your business page? While giving them regular updates about your niche or business these regular updates will also keep them interested. You could even run a contest or giveaway if you like. Doing these few things may help boost your numbers. You should also consider sharing testimonials or photos of customers with their product or service, this will add a human element to your business and will flip the tables from all the messages being from you and about you.

I would then consider Facebook Ads. They are another great way to increase your Facebook likes. Experiment with different types of ads to see what best works for your business and make sure there is an option that allows the Facebook user to like your page directly from the ad. A few dollars a day will make the world of difference, you can promote based on geographical location which is great if you have a local business or based on a range of other elements.

Lastly, I would also recommend that you like and interact with other companies on social media as well. This will build awareness of your brand amongst like-minded companies, people and their followers.

Best of luck in the future.
