The best approach to instagram

In my business, which is selling photography tours, I have noticed that my top competitors have huge instagram followings. I got in touch with the biggest guy, he literally does not even tag his photos or promote himself ANYWHERE and he has 400k followers. He said He just started putting up a photo a day 7 years ago and it just happened. I also happen to know that he sells tons of prints and spots in his tours from these followers, it's an enormously powerful platform for this business model. And there are many other photo sharing websites of the same kind.

1. I don't want to have to wait 7 years, how can I speed up this process as fast as possible?

you could follow your competitor follower as starting, can do it manual by you or your staff or even more shady way with automated program, like and comment on media will help too.

boost your brand recognition with this wont help much in getting follower, but you still easilly get your post viral many people depends on your budget, and make sure to set the age , location, gender etc to make your ads targeted to them

You could get followers easily by not only posting quality content and using hashtags on your photos and videos but by setting up to automatically do most of the work for you by using Instagress. Set it up to follow the followers of your competitors and then will see you have followed them and if they like your account they will follow you back. This is the easiest way to get targeted followers who at least have an interest in what you have to offer because they are already following a similar account. I average about 5000 new REAL followers per month per Instagram account I have set up in Instagress and it does it all on autopilot for you so this will speed things up for you instead of manually following people all day long. You still have to post great content from your smartphone as it doesn't do the posting just the liking, commenting, following and unfollowing.

This seems like a really good idea. However, I think it appears a little bad when you are following 10,000 people. Does it allow you to set it up also to stop following after a few days? Because there is not any notification when someone stops following you, so this way I can get the target audience attention when I follow them, but I don't look like a desperate schmuck with 10,000 people I'm following. Anyway I honestly don't want all those photos in my feed lol!

Well you can only follow 7500 accounts now. So you could set it up to follow say 2000-5000 and then change it to UNFOLLOWING and bring your numbers back down. Once again this can all be done on autopilot because they have a follow and unfollow how many setting and a new blacklisting feature so you can enter the usernames that you don't want to unfollow like friends, business relations or whomever so when you set Instagress to unfollow it won't accidentally unfollow someone you want to stay followed to. You can keep following and unfollowing until you have the desired number of followers and unfollow to bring your unfollowing back down to where you want it. Now that you have loads of followers every time you do a post many of them will see it and your post can be a great outdoorsy pic with maybe a dark overlay lightly over it with text to promote your business and have a squeeze page in your bio to gather leads on an email list.

Also don't forget this - Go to all your competitors pages and check out lots of there posts to see what hashtags they are using this will give you great ideas for other possibly useful hashtags that may suite your business as well. Build a list of possible hashtags and pick wisely as you can only use 30 hashtags per post and may just want to go with say 10-15. Some say to many seems spammy but you do want to promote yourself well. So if you go with fewer pick them well.

i found that instagram likes and cost were pretty cheap. What i also found out is that their engagement rate compared to facebook and twitter are VERY low. But its still a good took. Dont focus on other people, trust me you will get there. be patient and dont be tempted to buy followers or do anything overnight

You can't deny the fact that there will always be someone above you. Maybe you could promote and expose your brand by putting a hook on the photos you capture. Try posting pictures that are totally different from your competitors and see if it will result to more followers

Use clever hashtags, however, make it appropriate to the content. Hashtags are the key to promote your photos.

    hey guys,
I totally agree that it takes ages to take IG accounts to 50k followers, unless you are ready to invest some money.

I bought one account with 20k follower about a year ago ($450), the account is about fitness. I launched a bot (Follow/like/comment). I prepared a really cool content with catchy titles and scheduled my posts.
Besides mass following/liking I closed pretty good deals with other accounts for shoutouts.
All these actions helped me to get to almost 70k followers in one year.

    Software I've been using:
    Follow Liker
    Instamate

70k followers = Aged profile (you can buy one for $200 - $800) + High Quality Content (Use Instamate) + Constant posting (Schedule up to 3 posts daily) + Shoutouts

    1) Be different

    2) Hashtags

    3) comment on 10 things a day.

    4) Use clear and breathtaking photos, that are yours.

For some niches, works better than others, but INSTA, is growing day by day. Spammers have not hit there....yet.....haha. I said YET! LOL

I would suggest following like-minded people and successful competitors on Instagram and get some inspiration from them.

Copying them will give you little success, however finding something unique and inimitable will give you a competitive advantage.

Engage with your followers, be creative and share things with them. Be active and responsive on Instagram.

I agree with a few people who have posted that hashtags are integral to a successful Instagram as well.

Best of luck in the future.

How does your business work? Do you set people up globally to go on a photography tour somewhere near where they live or in a certain country for photography tours or do you live on some tropical island where you only sell these tours to people who visit where your business is based. In other words are you something like a travel agent who sets people up to go on these tours anywhere they are interested in traveling to globally. How do these tours work as I may have some other helpful ideas for you.
