  • Social Media Marketing. There are lot to do to promote your business on social media. You can feature your pets and your place. Try making an official page on Facebook or create an account on instagram. You can also try searching pet stores who have an online marketing experience and get some inspiration from them. God bless!

    • Thanks.
I'll be more consistent featuring on Facebook.
I have not used yet Instagram but I will.
    • Thank you. I just started with an Instagram account and learning how it work.
      Have a good day!
  • Facebook is great for pet shop promotion but the free path is a long and bumpy one.

You need quality and interesting content. Also you have to establish a connection with your audience, and increase the engagement to guarantee your posts will have decent organic(which is free) reach.

    • Thank you.
I have a facebook page dedicated to my website (blog + petshop) .
I also am careful with content, but go slowly.
  • First and foremost, you have to create a Facebook business page. Put your business details there: address, operating hours, contact information, etc.

Second: ask friends, fans and customers to like and follow. encourage them to tag of check in whenever they visit

Then, post your products and services regularly. Promote events, have sales or promotions and post them on your site.

Fourth, post content from your website and content from other websites that are relevant to your business. Like links from partners or posts that educate pet owners on how to take care of their pets.

Last, engage and interact. Think of you Facebook page as your shop on Facebook. Treat anyone who visits as potential customers.
  • If it were me, I'd start posting useful and helpful content on my Facebook page. And start commenting on other posts from similar pages.

Run Facebook ads to promote your posts to people who you want to target (ie, geographically and in terms of their interests). If you're running a store I assume you'd want to target people who live or have reason to visit nearby.

Over time your page will grow and you can promote things within the store as well as the content you put out.

If the content you put out is good enough, you will also get people liking your page from recommendations and sharing of your posts.
  • Use various social media platforms. Take good quality photos and post interesting content to gain followers/likers. You can also join groups about pets to gain customers/viewers.
  • You can create your own fb page and promote your product or services there. You can offer discount and other attractive schemes so it look useful and interesting to the reader.
  • I have used these guys in the past, they send real traffic to your site based on niche www.trafficcentral.net
