Do You Upload Videos To Facebook?

YouTube is an amazing way to attract visitors to your website, right?
What about Facebook?
Do you upload videos to Facebook?
What is better - to post YouTube videos on my FanPage, or to upload them to Facebook, and them to post on my page?
Is it possible to get traffic from search to your Facebook videos?
#facebook #upload #videos
  • Both have their own advantages. I suggest you to do both. They will help you generate traffic.

Yes do both, but if you are trying to get engagement on Facebook with your video I suggest uploading your video on Facebook.

By uploading straight to Facebook you will get much more engagement than if you share a YouTube video. Facebook has it set up this way because they want to encourage people to share video on their platform. They are in a big push to encourage more and more video on Facebook. So definitely take advantage of that!

I really like both platforms but YouTube has been king for a long time, and some minor Facebook successes isn't going to change that immediately. Maybe over time, but for most people YouTube is still the best.

Both are a good way! If you wish to get wider reach for your video then upload it directly to the Facebook instead of posting the Youtube video link on Facebook.

Better if you can possible to embed the youtube video into your blog post and then get more shares through the help of other social media accounts. Personally, to drive the good amount of traffic is your main goal, so you can use any kind of social platforms to get the traffic to your website.

  • it depends on your content, Visitors are directly proportional to your video content

There is possibility to get traffic from search with uploaded videos on Facebook within its network by adding tags and hashtags to them.

It also depends on what your goal and objective it. You will have to test it out.

If you are doing video ads for example, you will have to upload the video to your page and you will get more views as it goes.

YouTube never fails in attracting visitors if you have the right tags put in place and you have a strategic link in the video description!

You can do both in order for you to get good results. Youtube videos and videos you upload to FB are two different traffic sources which will do good for your website if optimize correctly.

Thanx, guys, I do appreciate your suggestions. The problem is that I'm using annotations and cards in order to make my videos more interactive.
There are no such features on Facebook, so if I upload my videos to Facebook, they will look like a little bit weird (when I point the finger)

There is actually software that will enable you to place lower thirds on your video which will be transparent when you upload to facebook. You can then point to the lower thirds...

If you are trying to build subscribers on Youtube, then upload on youtube.

But if your goal is engagement then upload it direct on Facebook, the share and comments on it will be worth its weight in gold.

  • You can do both. But I do notice that engagement on Facebook is better.
