Can I drive facebook traffic through ads to a sales page on my website?

    IMO I would probably split test both. Send traffic to both the blog post and sales page and see which converts faster or better

    Driving traffic to your page doesn't really make much sense, if you don't get a like or email address from users. It means, that you should have quality content which would engage users and maybe some contest or sweepstakes to get likes faster.
