How to get a Pinterest account to Google Page 1 - need advice

Hello,

I need your help to get my client's Pinterest account to page 1 of google for a few key words.

Currently we're on pages 2 and 3 for his keywords. The primary keyword is used as a hashtag on all repinned and original content that we post.

We have restrictions from the client that we have to abide by:: He doesn't want to blog or guest post or get into any online conversations -- long story but we have to stay within those parameters.

Questions::
1) If I use his target keywords in the pin descriptions, instead of hashtagging that keyword, will that get better results?

2) we haven't purchased any backlinks or SAPE links -- would that help?

3) is there anything else I can do to get this pinterest account onto page 1?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

    It's odd that your client wants to rank on a social platform without being at all social.

      True, but that's how it is. Any ideas on how we can move up the rankings using keywords in the pins?

    You may have noticed that when Googling a particular topic, some of the results are actually Pinterest boards and pinned images...this happens because Google LOVES Pinterest, and is far more likely to give top rankings to a Pinterest board than a small website that doesn’t get much traffic or engagement.

    Google looks at Pinterest image captions as the ‘anchor text’ of your image, so it is VERY important you are using your keywords in your board title AND image descriptions!

    Notice as your board gets more content, Google recognizes that the content contained in my board is ‘fresh’ (and Google LOVES fresh, new content!). And the more and more popular my board gets (through likes and repins), the more Google recognizes that people like what they are seeing. And it is at this point that my board starts to move up in the Google search

    this is my 2 cents, i can take a look at the pinterest board & keyword, if you still need further help
