How to split test ads using dark posts?

Hey guys, title says it all.

I'm wondering how to split test ads using dark posts.

Do you just launch 1 ad across all adsets and keep the budget low - delete low performers and add in new ones until you find a high CTR one?

  • Or you could create different set of ads and see which one converts better. In the end you will spend same amount in both criteria but in this scenario you will save a lot of time.
