Facebook Ad: If I stop or Delete it, What Happens To My Remaining Money?

I mistakenly boosted a facebook post with $20 for 7 days, and its doing well.
I intend it to run for 3 days max (my mistake).
Now If I stop or delete the AD, what happens to my remaining money?

    Well what usually happens is you're infact telling Facebook you want to spend that much so fb works towards spending that much and not charging upfront.

    If you stop it, your bill will be calculated up to what you have spent only.

      What I really want to know is what happens to my balance.
      Right now, it shows they've charged $3.xx
      If I stop it now, Do I still have $16.xx TO USE ON ANY OTHER AD?
      Or Must I finish this $20 on this particular post?
