Are you using FB live for your marketing?

Hey there, I've been using FB to make affiliate sales for a while.

I wonder if people out there are utilizing FB live for their business.

Man I think this is a fantastic tool for branding and really standing
out from the competition because it takes some brass ones.

What do you think?

Are you actually using this?

I haven't tried using FB live to promote my business. But I think it's a good way to promote a product, I mean how to use the product that you're selling, something like that. It's also a good way to vlog about the product that you're selling.

      True Dennis.

It can help sell a product if you use it correctly.

Also great for branding if you use it often!

I think people love the live feature.

      It's less polished, but real.

I agree with this for sure. I have seen many facebook live video's that have a lot of people that connect in real time and either like the video or comment. Also I think time of day helps as well. Post when most of your friends would be on facebook ie/Not while they are at work

Very true Scott, the time does matter.

I used a piece of software called Live Leap by Luke Maguire that
syndicates my broadcast to my fb wall, group and fan page.

        Pretty cool, it helps.

        Also, I'd recommend:
        • Telling people you're gonna go live.
        • Inviting people while you're in the live.
        • Acknowledging people when they watch.
        • Ask them questions.
        • Remind them to get notifications from you in the future.
FB live rocks for branding guys, not just selling products directly
        in my experience.

From your phone you can use the "live" button:

      .

You can even doodle on the screen and change the filters!

      It's awesome.

On desktop though, you have to use software as far as I know.

It's called Open Broadcast Software or OBS.

It's a little tough to use at first, but once you get going it's great because it's easy to get views quickly and you can re-purpose those videos on YouTube or your blog or a product.

      Hope that helps!

FB specially offers digital marketing through Facebook Business where we need to create own business page on Facebook and start live marketing and updates at daily basis for raising brand reputation. Social media marketing has been integral part of digital marketing and everyone using this way for popularity.

Facebook live lets the user to share their real time video with their friends, colleagues and other people. You can also select people from your personal profile and also from the Facebook verified pages.

I use Facebook Live a lot for my clients! It is a great marketing tool. If you aren't using it yet you should start! The age we live in is amazing. Live video that anybody could do, not just the big corporations.

Small businesses should definitely be taking advantage of Facebook Live!

      Totally agree!

I think it's so easy to grow a following with this right now.

Maybe not forever, but I think the "live" aspect makes it
more exciting than a pre-recorded thing.

Think about when you watch a live webinar rather than
a recorded one...just not as exciting is it?

      Lol.

      Thanks for chiming in!

Facebook Live can be a very great way of interacting with your audience base from my own personal experience and if you think about it, it is almost like a YouTube Video in some way, don't you think?

I consistently get a few new views each day on my videos on Facebook and it has been doing me some good when it comes to getting a bit of exposure on Facebook.

      Totally agree Chang.

It's such quick interaction and I've found that it's easy to get
views if you have a bit of a following with a niche-specific
      FB profile.

I use a software called Live Leap to syndicate my videos to
my group, fan page and timeline and it works well.

It's funny you talk about YouTube because you can ALWAYS
re-purpose those videos (you can download them) for your
      blog or YouTube channel!

      Thanks for the input!

  • I still haven't maybe because I just don't like watching live videos that much myself...But it is something definitely worth considering!

I see madaboutmarketing, live isn't for everyone but if the
right person is on at the right time?

How cool is it to talk to them and they acknowledge you?

I think that's a great tip for FB live guys.

Acknowledge people in the session, ask them questions!

You can do a Q&A or Ask Me Anything kinda thing and get
      some interaction.

      Think about this too:

You reach more people when your edge rank goes up.

If you keep people on Facebook with your live videos and
spark conversation...more people will see your posts in the
      future!

Remember you don't have to be on camera to do a FB live,
but I totally recommend it for branding.

Thanks for the input...let me know when your first live session
      is

      I hear you reg.

I'm not saying it will beat out paid advertising though.

Why not use both if it's applicable though right?

Also, some people don't know sh*t about Facebook ads
      when they're first starting out.

I think FB live is easy to get. Just grow a pair and get on
      your phone and go

You can also use your desktop with this software called
Open Broadcaster Software. I've been using it for some
time and after it making me want to kill myself for a little
      because I didn't get it...

I figured it out and it's so easy to get views!

It's great for branding in your niche and can lead to sales.

I've seen (and done this myself) some marketers use it
with a "PM me for more info" and that works too.

      Think about that.

If you have a following and have something high-ticket to
sell...it's an excellent way to get leads.

      Thanks for chiming in!

  • Ive been using it for some of my clients, its a fantastic tool for branding purposes, I havent tried it yet for selling stuff or promoting products, but I think it can be a useful tool for those objectives too.

In my experience, Facebook is practically giving away a lot of reach for live transmisions, so its a good way of increasing the fanpage´s reach without paying ads.

However, when using live transmissions, you have to keep an eye of the quality, a bad connection can ruin the video.

Agreed Nacho (can I call you that?).

I had a friend named Ignacio and that was his nickname.

      But yes!

Definitely gotta make sure you have a good connection or
      people WILL hop off.
