Do you need a content marketing strategy?
Everyone in the biz recommends putting a content marketing strategy into place to save time and make sure that each and every piece of your content is valuable, but I"m just not sure about this.
It's good to have an idea of what action you want your posts to achieve (make sales, create awareness etc) but I also think that a large part of the effective social media is that is is current, relevant and from the heart - and I don't think you can strategise around that.
What do you think? Is a content strategy really necessary or can you be effective on the hop??
