Pinterest or Twitter to market a startup 3D projection company?

A friend of mine just started up a projection company and is currently utilizing connection based clients which he attained after months of cold calling and meeting people in person. Recently, he provided 3D projection services for a fashion show and some automation event for some company. Response , was pretty nice and they assured him for future contracts as well. But, temporary gigs don't pay the bills and he is looking to spread the word about his company to a demographic that would desire his services.

Are twitter and pinterest the best choice to achieve that goal? If yes, what kind of strategy would you guys adapt if you were in his place. Looking for some worthy advice.

Cheers

Have they tried LinkedIn? It is probably better for looking for decision makers in companies that may want to offer jobs for this kind of business.

Yes I think both the founder and co-founder have their own individual linkedin profiles. May be I guess they need a little bit of more work on their profiles to make it look more professional.
