Can you get a considerable amount of traffic from facebook?

hi there,

Is there any way you could get a considerable amount n of traffic from Facebook?

As I understand - Facebook limits the reach of posts (links) on your personal business page
for example, if you have 1000 likes on your business page, and you post a link, than maximum 100 people will get notified.

So it there any reason to invest in facebook if you open your (news/lifestyle magazine) site?

    Facebook page as with any other social media profiles will provide benefit for SEO. You can post regular updates on your Facebook page that will drive people to your site. I have worked with Online News site before and they are using Facebook Ads to boosts likes on their articles.

    They set very targeted amount to boosts articles which have potential to go viral in Facebook. For example getting likes and shares. You need to target to specific countries, age group, interest for your Facebook Ad campaign.

    There was an option on facebook pages that allows you to to show any page posts/updates on top of your feed, can't find it anywhere though. If you can find it and notify your followers to use that, your reach among page's followers would increase.

    Also, custom browser plugins that show notifications when any update is posted on specific page, but you'd need to find a developer to create one.

    Facebook Pages are good for making a community and really engage with your followers. Driving traffic from Facebook can be easily obtained if you have great content. Making eye-catching images can entice people to click.

    If you want to make it your primary source of traffic, I would advise you keep trying different methods, each and every time.

    Other than Facebook Pages, you can look into facebook groups. I find they are more active than facebook pages because everyone can post on them.
