Im thinking about buying Twitter followers, should I do that?

Hi everyone, Ive been working on a Twitter account for a few months, and the results so far have been very disappointing, I have done most of the things that social media experts recommend for Twitter, Ive really been putting a lot of effort on it, and so far the account has only get a little less than 200 followers.

I really need to start showing some results there, so I feel like im running out of options, the things that I have tried include:

Making a lot of engagement with my targeted audience, that engagement has included favs, RTs and direct discussions.
Using popular HTs for trying to get new followers through them.
Keeping an active account, tweeting no less than 15 times per day.
I use a wide varieaty of content, including gifs and photos.
I try to post valuable content.

I have done all of those things and as I said the results are quite small so far, I know most of the experts say that buying followers is a bad idea, but I really feel like I have no other choice, my main concern right now is that I will not get more followers until I have a big following, I think that people wont follow me until they see I have a lot of followers.

What would your advice be? Should I do this? Or is it really a bad idea?

I will appreciate every comment, im quite desperate with this situation.

It's up to you , buying twitter followers is so risky . You will not know if it will help or make your business fail . Buying follower is a short term for your business .

Why buying followers is risky? I believe that if you have 20-30% fake followers it is ok.

And do you have any proof regarding your figures or did you just make them up?

i think it's a waste of money buying fake followers. i got 4,942 followers (real people and mostly US based) but none of them are buying my products... they don't have money maybe. lol!

Can you let me know how much is the engagements over your tweets? Also purchasing followers is really a good choice since everyone easily follows an influential user rather than an account that has some mere 100 to 1000 followers.

Start a rewst.com account instead of buying any followers. It works wonders if used properly.

One thing that you should not do is to buy followers because it can make you lose your reputation and integrity. It seems fair to buy followers because you are using your own money but it will be suspicious for the other users if they have seen that your account has 3 followers then later on it becomes 3k followers. They can think that it's debatable and doubtable that can cause you your reputation and integrity.

If you want to have a quick start on building your account I think it's fine.

In the long run though, it's not that good to buy a ton of followers. Your engagement rate will be lower.

I tend to agree with some of the others, buying fake followers is a bit of a waste of time, they probably won't engage. If you want plenty of real followers, follow plenty of other people. It's not something you can do in 5 minutes but it works over time. I have 3 accounts in different niches with several thousand followers in each and all of it was done by following others and engaging with them

You should not buy twitter followers. It is low engagement if you are buying fake accounts to follow you. When you buy followers, there will come a time that you might lose them as well. Some users buy followers, there will be an overnight increase but in turn, your authentic followers may see this suspicious and may think that it is spam.

I agree, you don't need to buy followers. Buying followers can be seen as a shortcut. So you'll have a secret transaction and assuming you follow through with it. Even without noticing if it is fake or true account/user.

It depends on you on what ways you will use it. Maybe some ways are applicable, but these ways aren't comfortable and suitable for you. Buying followers can be good in other terms but mostly it has disadvantages that can cause worst in your account and in your personality.

You don't need to buy Twitter followers because buying fake followers is waste of time and money. When you buy followers or fans, you aren’t getting
people who are interested or willing to engage with you. You are merely buying numbers.
Make your real twitter followers because having real Twitter followers definitely will offer you more long-term benefits than any "cheap" deals you'll find.
